Previous issue date: 2010-06-23 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This research has its focus on Chemistry since the beginning of the sciences until its conception as a scientific and educational subject. The aim of this research is to understand Chemistry and its position in the world of human knowledge and also analyse Chemistry as an educational subject in a public school in São Paulo which is considered by a crossing school and where one of our Chemistry teacher is a researcher. This study also considers people involved- student and teacher-with the learning process in a critic perspective. This research is theoretically based on interdisciplinarity and on the richness of its presuppositions according to Prof Dr. Ivani Catarina Arantes Fazenda, considering the contribution of the psychogenetics studies of Wallon, studied by Prof Dr.Laurinda Ramalho de Almeida. In terms of methodology this research uses the observation from the study of Prof Dr. Laurinda Ramalho de Almeida, based ou Wallon (1975) and the relevance of the records as tools to help transform the practice in the classroom. The systematic records consist in minutes and diaries of itinerance theoretically based on Barbier (2007). The focus of this research is the relations between the chemistry classes and the senses of Chemistry in students lives to contribute to education, when reflects on the chemistry which is taught and the one which is lived and the knowledge of Chemistry in the classrooms and the social meaning of these contents causing a rethinking of the teachers pratices. This aims to reduce the schooling evasion , when it presents elements to an interdisciplinary learning process / Uma pesquisa que: contextualiza a Química desde o nascimento das ciências até sua concepção enquanto disciplina, seja ela científica ou escolar, para compreensão de seu lugar no mundo do conhecimento humano, analisa o ensino da Química enquanto disciplina escolar, em uma escola pública estadual paulista; considerada por nós, escola de passagem, e na qual uma das professoras de química é esta pesquisadora, considera como sujeitos envolvidos no processo ensino e aprendizagem, numa perspectiva crítica o aluno e o professor, pauta-se, teoricamente, na Interdisciplinaridade e na riqueza de seus pressupostos, segundo a Profª Drª Ivani Catarina Arantes Fazenda e que se utiliza das contribuições dadas à Educação pela Psicogenética de Wallon, estudadas pela Profª Drª Laurinda Ramalho de Almeida. metodologicamente, serve-se da Observação Participante, a partir de estudo da Profª Drª Laurinda Ramalho de Almeida, pautado em Wallon (1975), e da importância dos registros como ferramentas que podem auxiliar na transformação da prática do professor em sala de aula. Registros que são sistematizados por meio de atas e diários de itinerância, sustentados teoricamente em Barbier (2007), traz por objeto pesquisado as relações entre as aulas de química e os sentidos da química na vida dos alunos e que pretende ser uma contribuição à Educação, quando torna relevante a reflexão sobre os sentidos da Química ensinada e da Química vivida, o conhecimento de química construído nas aulas e o significado social desse conteúdo e ocasiona um repensar a própria prática do professor, objetivando, inclusive, uma redução na evasão escolar, quando apresenta elementos para uma aprendizagem interdisciplinar
