Denna studie ämnar synliggöra musikskapares förhållningssätt till sin låtskrivarprocess med inriktning till metod och kreativitet. Studien ämnar undersöka olika metoder och strategier låtskrivare och producenter nyttjar under sin låtskrivarprocess. Tidigare forskning inom ämnet kartläggs och presenteras i ett eget kapitel. Fem individer genomgår en kvalitativ intervjustudie med perspektivet hermeneutik som utgångspunkt. Insamlingen av data baseras på semistrukturerade intervjuer där informanterna berättar om hur de upplever sin låtskrivarprocess och tankar inom ämnet. Transkribering av inspelat material analyseras genom tematisk analys som sedan presenteras i ett resultat som lyfter fram centrala aspekter kring de forskningsfrågor som berörs. Resultatet pekar på att världen inom musikskapande fokuserar på olika områden som teknikens förutsättningar, musikens utveckling, val av strategier och konstnärlig bedömning. Avslutningsvis diskuteras resultatet i relation till tidigare forskning samt val av metod. / This study intends to make visible music creators' approach to their songwriting process with a focus on method and creativity. The study aims to investigate different methods and strategies songwriters and producers use during their songwriting process. Previous research in the subject is mapped and presented in a separate chapter. Five individuals undergo a qualitative interview study with the perspective of hermeneutics as a starting point. The collection of data is based on semi-structured interviews where participants talk about how they experience their songwriting process and thoughts on the subject. Transcription of recorded material is analyzed through thematic analysis which is then presented in a result that highlights central aspects of the research questions concerned. The results indicate that the world of music creation focuses on different areas such as the prerequisites of technology, the development of music, choice of strategies and artistic assessment. Finally, the results are discussed in relation to previous research and the choice of method.
