forgotten and excluded of Freud's Collected Papers, On Aphasia is based on a criticaI review of the current theories usually found in the context of Aphasiology and Neurology in the 19th century. Taking into account Freud's arguments, and his
conceptions as well, the purpose of this work is the circumscription of the possible links between freudian arguments and some of the methodological and theorical principies that underline the conceptions of the discoursive Neurolinguistics, such
as: the simbolic dimension of language; the functionalism and interacionism; the subjectivity; the relations between normality and pathology / Mestrado / Mestre em Linguística
