history of SJC city, starting from soccer as a social practice, which always permeates
the factory work environment. In an attempt to situate the issue within a general
context, it is possible to bring up lived specificities in the city of SJC, with the
establishment of the National Politics for Physical Education and Sports and the
National Plan for Physical Education and Sports NPPES.
It is known that the sport has been used by both the State and the company.
The question is to know how the worker meant it in his/her daily life. Soccer
becomes, therefore, a starting point for understanding labor relationships in the city
and the possibility of new interpretations about life in the factories. Thus, the
theoretical formulations were broadened, having as a background the government
and institutional projects actually experienced by the workers.
The narratives about soccer are themselves agents of subjectivities and reveal
significant aspects of memory. Winnings and ties which were narrated by these
workers go beyond the soccer game and they are about the game of life, of
resentments, of bitterness and of losses, within the four lines, providing other views
about life in the city and at work / O objetivo da pesquisa é apresentar uma nova chave para a leitura sobre a
história da cidade de SJC, partindo-se do futebol como prática social, que sempre
permeou o ambiente de trabalho fabril. Na tentativa de situar o tema dentro de um
contexto geral, é possível trazer à tona as especificidades vividas na cidade de SJC,
com a instituição da Política Nacional de Educação Física e Desportos e o Plano
Nacional de Educação Física e Desportos- PNED.
Sabe-se que o esporte foi usado tanto pelo Estado quanto pela empresa. Resta
saber, como o trabalhador o significou em seu cotidiano. O futebol torna-se,
portanto, ponto de partida para o entendimento das relações de trabalho na cidade e
possibilidade de novas interpretações sobre a vida nas fábricas. Desse modo,
ampliam-se as formulações teóricas, tendo-se como pano de fundo os projetos
governamentais e institucionais vividos de fato pelos trabalhadores.
As narrativas sobre o futebol são, por elas mesmas, agenciadoras de
subjetividades e reveladoras de aspectos significativos da memória. As vitórias e
os empates narrados por esses trabalhadores extrapolam o jogo do futebol e trata
do jogo da vida, dos ressentimentos, das mágoas e das derrotas, dentro das quatro
linhas, proporcionando outros olhares sobre a vida na cidade e no trabalho
