Digitala verktygs påverkan och användning som stöttning för elevers grammatikinlärning i engelska : En kunskapsöversikt

The following study aims to investigate the effects of digital tools considering pupils’ English grammar learning. It also aims to investigate how the tools can be used in the classroom to support the pupils’ grammar learning. The study’s material consists of previous research done in the same field which this study intends to be placed. The articles presented some phrases that has been used frequently throughout the study and they are MALL, TALL and CALL. The phrases stand for different kinds of language learning assisted through mobiles (MALL), tablets (TALL) and computers (CALL). The study shows that these types of digital tools do assist pupils’ language learning in regard to grammar. The present study also finds that there are several different ways to use these tools in the classroom. Another interesting finding of this study is the traditional methods and that the articles presented, find that this kind of teaching method is perceived as boring, while teaching with the support of digital tools is found to increase the pupils’ motivation and engagement in the tasks.
