In this work, equity is examined from an intersectional perspective among the six municipalities in Halland County: Halmstad, Falkenberg, Varberg, Kungsbacka, Hylte and Laholm. The methods that laid the basis for the results consist of questionnaires and a quantitative discourse analysis. The result shows that there are ambitions to contribute to a more equal workplace. Region Halland follows Agenda 2030's goals and has created its own policy texts that are the basis for equal work in practice. Survey respondents acknowledge that equity work is an important goal but point out that it requires significant time and active work. Many currently have other priorities. In addition, it appears that there is a lack of knowledge about the concept of equity, and some participants describe their workplaces as homogeneous, which may indicate inequity.
