The purpose of this report is to investigate Sweden's municipalities on their strategies with digital communication and tools to reach society via social media associated with Covid-19. This subject also applies in the area of the workplace and between municipalities. In order to answer the questions, a survey was sent via Google form to all the municipalities in the country. 152 of 290 municipalities participated in the survey within the time frame of our work. It turns out that a large part of the municipalities are now focusing on new strategies where only a few of them stick to ordinary procedures as when a crisis situation arises. Reaching out information via social media is especially important in a situation like this during Covid-19. Facebook has by far been the most popular and effective platform for disseminating information to citizens.
