Det finns riktlinjer för hur webbplatser kan anpassas för personer med kognitiva funktionhinder, men ännu har ingen enighet uppnåtts när det gäller hur man bäst går tillväga för att skapa tillgängliga webbplatser för målgruppen. Det finns flera former av kognitiva funktionshinder. Därför behövs undersökningar som fokuserar på hur man skapar tillgängliga webbplatser för personer med de olika formerna av funktionshindret. En fallstudie har därför utförts genom detta arbete, för att ta reda på hur tillgänglig Kristianstad Biblioteks webbplats är för unga personer med lindrig utvecklingsstörning. Webbplatsen har studerats genom ett användningstest som utförts tillsammans med målgruppen. Förslag ges i uppsatsen på hur webbplatsen kan förbättras för att öka tillgängligheten. Flera förbättringar behövs på webbplatsen för att den ska kunna anses som tillgänglig för målgruppen. Navigationen var ett av de områden som ställde till störst problem för deltagarna under användningstestet och därför behöver förbättras. Problem uppstod även när deltagarna skulle utläsa information om mediet (en bok) ur en tabell. Att använda mer multimodalitet på webbplatsen kan vara ett komplement till den skrivna texten som underlättar för målgruppen. / There are guidelines of how to adapt websites for people with cognitive disabilities, but so far, there is no agreement in how to make accessible websites for the target group. There are several forms of cognitive disabilities. Therefore, studies that focus on how to create accessible websites for people with cognitive disabilities of different kinds are needed. Through this essay a case study has been carried out, to find out how accessible Kristianstad Library´s website is for young persons with mild developmental disabilities. To study the website, a usability test has been carried out with the target group. Furthermore, suggestions are given in the essay of how the website can be improved to increase the accessibility. Several improvements are needed at the website for it to be considered accessible for the target group. The navigation was one of the areas that caused the most problems for the participants during the usability test and therefor needs to be improved. Problems also arose when the participants would read information about the medium (a book) from a table. Using more multimodality at the website as a complement to the written text, can facilitate for the target group.
