Entre outras ferramentas, utilizamos o Cálculo Diferencial e Integral de uma variável. / The purpose of this dissertation is to present an elementary statement about irrationality of certain real numbers, the construction of a transcendental number, furthermore demonstrate the irrationality and transcendence of the π number. Among other tools, we have made use the Di erential and Integral Calculus of one variable.
