Previous issue date: 2016-10-10 / Qual o impacto do PROEJA na renda e na inserção dos técnicos no mundo do trabalho? Este
trabalho estima o efeito do Programa sobre a renda e a inserção no mundo do trabalho dos
técnicos do IFMT - campus Cuiabá/Cel Octayde Jorge da Silva. Este campus foi escolhido por
concentrar a maior quantidade de alunos matriculados e ser o mais antigo campus do IFMT. O
desenho de pesquisa combina estatística descritiva, teste t para amostras emparelhadas e
entrevistas semiestruturadas para testar a hipótese de que a capacitação recebida aumenta a renda
e a inserção dos egressos. Em particular, utiliza-se informações administrativas, coletadas no
sistema de cadastro do IFMT com informações de ingressos, inscritos e concluídos, além de
dados primários para elaborar um banco original. Os resultados são: (1) a participação no
programa aumenta a renda, melhorando a qualidade de vida, e (2) os formandos do curso de
Edificações atingiram maior inserção no mercado de trabalho em relação aos formandos dos
cursos de Eletrotécnica e Refrigeração. Com essa pesquisa, espera-se contribuir com a literatura
sobre avaliação de políticas públicas de forma geral e com o impacto do PROEJA, em particular.
Além disso, esperamos auxiliar as autoridades públicas a aprimorarem a definição do
públicoalvo do PROEJA, justificando a sua existência pela necessidade de qualificação de jovens
e adultos que não tiveram a oportunidade de escolarização no período escolar regular e pela
melhoria na renda e na inserção no mundo do trabalho de cidadãos, bem como adotar formas de
permanência desses indivíduos no curso escolhido, alcançando o objetivo de melhorias na
inserção do mercado de trabalho. / What is the impact of PROEJA in the income and on the insertion of the technicians in the world
of work? This paper estimates the program effect on the income and in the insertion in the world
of work of IFMT - technical campus Cuiabá/Cel Octayde Jorge da Silva. This campus was
chosen by concentrating the largest number of students enrolled and being the oldest IFMT
campus. The research design combines descriptive statistics, t - test for paired samples and
semistructured interviews to test the hypothesis that the training received increases the income
and the integration of graduates in the labour market. In particular, administrative information
collected in the IFMT registration system with information, enrolled and completed, and
primary data to prepare an original bank is used. The results are: (1) participation in the program
has the effect of increasing the income, improving the quality of life, and (2) the trainees of the
course of Buildings reached higher insertion in the labour market in relation to the graduates of
the courses of Electrotechnics and refrigeration. Furthermore, we expect help public authorities
to hone the target audience definition PROEJA, justifying their existence by the need to qualify
young people and adults who did not have the opportunity to attend school during the regular
school period and by improving income and insertion of citizens into the world of work, as well
as to adopt forms of stay of these individuals in the chosen course, reaching the goal of
improvement in the labor market insertion.
