Denna studie undersöker attityder till programmering bland verksamma matematiklärare inom den svenska gymnasieskolan. Studien behandlar främst lärarnas motivation för programmering och deras åsikter om programmering i gymnasieskolans matematikkurser. Dessa undersöktes genom semistrukturerade intervjuer vilka sedan analyseras med metoder från innehållsanalys och tematisk analys. Fyra lärare deltog i studien och resultaten visar att lärarna generellt har negativa attityder mot programmering i matematikundervisningen. Vidare varierar motivationen för och åsikterna om programmering kraftigt mellan olika lärare och resultaten belyser behovet av programmeringsutbildning för lärare. Nyckelord: Attityd, matematik, motivation, programmering, åsikt / This study examines attitudes toward programming amongst active mathematics teachers within the Swedish upper secondary school system. The study mainly covers teacher’s motivation for programming and their opinions about programming within the mathematics courses of the Swedish upper secondary school system. These are studied through semi-structured interviews which are then analyzed using methods from content analysis and thematic analysis. Four teachers participated in the study and the results show that the teachers generally have negative attitudes towards programming within mathematics education. Further the motivation for and the opinions about programming vary strongly between different teachers and the results highlight the need of programming education for mathematics teachers.
