Abstract Title: Effects of a hybrid work environment - A study from an employee perspective _________________________________________________________________________ Key-words: hybrid work, hybrid work environment, digitalization, work environment, fellowship, Work-Life-Balance, self-leadership, trust. Research question: What effects are created by hybrid forms of work? Purpose: The purpose of this study is to obtain inventory effects employees experiencing in a hybrid working model environment. Method: A case study with an inductive approach with a subjective and qualitative research strategy. The empirical data are gathered during ten interviews which was performed in a disorderly matter, with individuals representing different organizations. There after the gathered empirical data treated from The Grounded Theory as an inspiration and structure point in terms of category. Conclusion: In the final conclusion we present the differences the hybrid working solutions, which appeared analyzing the empirical data gathered. There after we highlight the two different areas which incus all the given effects, videlicet independent leadership and a trust-based leadership. Hence a case that can be treated with consideration of the employer of when introducing a hybrid working model, is presented. The chapter ends with brief parts in relation between future hybrid working models and external factors.
