Personsäkerhet på byggarbetsplatser : Minimering och förebyggande av fallolyckor

The construction industry belongs to the one of the most accident- affected industries in Sweden. The most common accident risk on the construction site is fall. It’s important to find out in an early stage which risks are on the construction site and how they can be minimized and prevented.As apart of this work, a literature study has been done in which the Swedish work environment authority’s laws and rules have been studied. The conclusion of the literature study is that is important to follow the laws and rules to establish a good working environment and to avoid fall accidents.Construction site visits and participation to safety inspections have been made. The safety inspections protocols collected to analyze if there were any serious deficiencies. The construction site is of a high standard but there are some little opportunities for improvement.An inquiry has been distributed to find out how to fall can be avoid. The result shows that use the fall protection that exist, more job planning and own responsibility is important in order to avoid fall accidents.
