Producers are faced with new possibilities and challenges when using sound in a digital media production due to the digitization, which has also affected the cooperation between different parties. The product does also have the means to cause publicity which creates varying prerequisites for user experience. In addition, the producer must also pertain to a certain budget given by the client. Through a qualitative method this study examines the given phenomenon and concludes that digitization allowed the producer a bigger variety of assets making work more effortless, and that the client has a big impact on the products auditory result as the producer must adhere to the clients demands. Therefore, swaying the outcome of the user experience in favour of a sustainable partnership between the producer and client.
