<p>I denna studie går vi igenom skolkuratorns subjektiva syn på relationen mellan skolkurator och elev, samt hur deras arbete går till. I studien har vi använt oss av kvalitativ metod, där vi har intervjuat tio skolkuratorer och deras syn på relationen mellan dem och eleverna på skolan. Skolkuratorns ansvar har blivit större då deras område har växt inom skolan, de måste kunna se individen utifrån både familjära förhållanden men också ur ett kulturperspektiv, då dessa har stor påverkan på tonåringarna. Skolkuratorn måste också se till de olika yttre krav som påverkar eleven, och därför blir det viktigt för skolkuratorn att uppdatera sig med ny kunskap. Skolkuratorn använder sig av många olika metoder för nå ut till eleverna, då de i studien visar sig att en av skolkuratorerna använder sig av böcker, en annan av konst och en tredje av samarbetsövningar. Skolkuratorn har i många skolor blivit en känd företeelse på skolan, och de ökar därmed kunskapen om vad en kurator har för arbetsuppgift.</p> / <p>In this study, we go through counselor's subjective view on the relationship between counselor and student, and how their work goes to. In this study, we have made use of qualitative method, where we have interviewed ten schools counselors, and their views on the relationship between them and students at the school. Counselor's responsibilities have become greater because their area has grown in the school, they must be able to see individuals from both family relationships but also from a cultural perspective, as they have great influence on teenagers. Counselor must also ensure that the various external requirements affecting the student, and therefore it becomes important for the counselor to update itself with new knowledge. The counselor uses many different methods of reaching out to students when in the study found that one of the counselor use books, another of the arts and a third of cooperative exercises. The counselor has been in many schools, become a well known phenomenon in the school, and therefore increases the understanding of what a counselor has for task assignment.</p>
