Bakgrund: Personer med en funktionsnedsättning har länge varit den grupp som utför minst fysisk aktivitet och står därmed i risk att drabbas av de sjukdomar som denna avsaknad av rörelse leder till. Syfte: Med detta i åtanke utfördes denna studie för att undersöka hur lokaler anpassas för att förbättra tillgängligheten i fysisk aktivitet för personer med funktionsnedsättning. Metod: En kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer där fem av Parasport Sveriges distrikt intervjuades via webbplattformen zoom. Dessa intervjuer transkriberades sedan för att kunna kodas och tematiseras. Resultat: I dagsläget arbetar Parasport Sverige aktivt med tillgänglighet. Detta har delvis gjorts möjligt genom kommunikation mellan Parasport Sverige och andra aktörer. Ekonomiska förutsättning är en annan faktor som spelar en central roll i vilka och hur stora anpassningar som faktiskt kunnat genomföras. Slutsats: Studien har visat att Parasport Sverige huvudsakligen arbetar med inventarier av idrottslokaler. Eftersom Parasport Sverige ej äger egna lokaler är kommunikation med andra aktörer ytterst viktigt. Det arbete Parasport Sverige kan genomföra är i hög grad påverkad av ekonomiska förutsättningar vilket vidare uttrycker behovet av kommunikation samt samarbeten med andra aktörer. / Background: People with disabilities have for a long time been the group that performs the least amount of physical activity and stands therefore with the highest risk of being affected by diseases this lack of movement might lead to. Purpose: With this in mind, this study was conducted with the purpose of researching how buildings get adapted in order to make it possible for people with disabilities to partake in physical activity. Method: A qualitative study with semi structured interviews. These 5 interviews were conducted with districts from Parasport Sweden. The interviews were later transcribed for the purpose of coding and thematization. Results: Today Parasport Sverige is actively working with availability. This has partly been made possible due to communications between Parasport Sverige and other participants. Financial conditions do also play a key role when it comes to which and how big these adaptations can actually be. Conclusion: This study has shown that Parasport Sverige mainly works with inventory. Since Parasport Sverige doesn’t own any sport facilities on their own, communications with other actors plays a key role. The work they’re able to do is mainly affected by economic factors which further expresses the importance of working together with others.
