Natural and environmental issues are everyday parts in preschool but when educators shall consciously work with sustainable development they tend to stop at recycling and what is necessary to be done for achieving the Grön Flagg-certification. I have been observing various preschools and noticed that sustainable development is flawed, often because of the teachers lack of interest, knowledge and in some cases both. Out of this grew an idea of making a project that could help the teachers see how the work with the subject in a fun and educational way can become a part of the preschools everyday routine. I made a tutorial booklet with basic facts and activities relating to sustainable development and the three questions in my report were how much knowledge and interest the teachers initially have, if the tutorial booklet could help the teachers to produce new knowledge and interest for the topic and if it turned out to be easier for them to provide educational activities within the subject. There were three departments that participated in my survey and the methodology of collecting data was an anonymous survey with the teachers' own comments in response. One of the most interesting findings was that those participants who received the most knowledge and dared to try out more and a little bit different activities were the educators who initially knew almost nothing and had an insecure attitude to the sustainable development. / Natur och miljöfrågor sägs vara vardag i förskolans verksamhet men när det handlar om hur man medvetet arbetar med hållbar utveckling stannar ofta pedagogerna vid källsortering och vad som behöver göras för att uppnå Grön Flagg-certifiering. Jag har med egna ögon sett att arbetet med hållbar utveckling är bristfällig och att det ofta beror på avsaknad av intresse och kunskaper hos pedagogerna. Därmed växte idén om att få pedagogerna att se hur hållbar utveckling på ett roligt och lärorikt sätt kan bli en del utav förskolans vardag. Jag gjorde ett handledningshäfte med fakta, tips och aktiviteter som berörde ämnet och mina frågeställningar var vilka kunskaper och inställningar som fanns hos pedagogerna sedan innan, om häftet kunde bidra till att pedagogerna fick ny kunskap och intresse för hållbar utveckling och om det blev enklare för pedagogerna att erbjuda barnen pedagogisk verksamhet inom ämnet efter att de arbetat med mitt häfte. Tre 1-3 års avdelningar ställde upp i min undersökning och datainsamlingsmetoden var anonym enkätundersökning med pedagogernas egna kommentarer som svar. Ett av de mest intressanta resultaten var att de som lärde sig flest nya saker och som vågade prova på fler och lite annorlunda aktiviteter var de pedagoger som från början visste minst och hade osäker inställning till ämnet.
