My essay aims to highlight the free play at the leisure-time center. I will find out what the students learn through the free play and how the free play looks. In my essay, I use a selfexperienced dilemma, through my professional role, looking at the play with c eyes other than a parent. The starting point of this work is to analyze my dilemma by twist and turn it around and see it from different perspectives and angles. To do this, I use scientific essay writing as a method and literature that is relevant to the specific subject. In my conclusion, I now understand how communication between leisure-time center and parents could change parents´ views on the free play
