Syftet med denna kunskapsöversikt är att hitta motivationsstrategier och verktyg som används av lärare inom IDH. Kunskapsöversiktens frågeställning lyder: Vad karaktäriserar funktionella/användbara motivationsstrategier och verktyg i idrott och hälsa?. Genom en systematisk informationssökning som gjordes över flera databaser innehållande vetenskapliga artiklar och forskning valdes tolv artiklar ut som kritiskt granskats. Dessa tolv artiklar har sammanfattats och granskats för att kunna svara på kunskapsöversiktens frågeställning. En sammanfattning av varje artikels innehåll och syfte har gjorts och presenterats. Resultatet visade på att lärare inom IDH använder sig av SDT, AGT, TARGET och BHN/BPN metoder och variationer på tidigare nämnda strategier för att jobba med motivation. Vidare diskuteras kopplingen mellan motivations strategierna och verktygen samt att en implementering av TARGETS funktion presenteras i samband med SDT och AGT teorierna. / The purpose of this knowledge overview is to find motivational strategies and tools used by teachers within physical education. The knowledge overview's question is: What characterizes functional / useful motivation strategies and tools in sports and health ?. Through a systematic search for information that was done across several databases containing scientific articles and research, twelve articles were selected that were critically reviewed. These twelve articles have been summarized and reviewed in order to answer the knowledge overview's question. A summary of the content and purpose of each article has been made and presented. The results showed that teachers within physical education use SDT, AGT, TARGET and BHN / BPN methods and variations on the previously mentioned strategies for working with motivation. Furthermore, the connection between the motivation strategies and the tools is discussed and that an implementation of TARGET's function is presented in connection with the SDT and AGT theories.
