The purpose of this study is to make it clear, based on teachers experience, whether the rule of law in Swedish schools has been affected during sudden changes in the framework of a pandemic. To respond to this purpose, issues have been formulated. How do teachers experience this from the outside to ensure teaching, governing documents and grades? The results show that teachers feel that the rule of law has been affected in a negative way during distance education. Furthermore, the results showed that the framework for ensuring good teaching, safe examinations had been made more difficult, which may be due to the lack of formal rules and guidelines. Many results are in line with the research situation, but where a legalization or a vacuum can be said to be one of the reasons why legal certainty has been affected.
