During the covid-19-pandemic travel habits changed drastically, and people were expected to work from home to the utmost possible extent. Therefore, public transport was used less, and people preferred car and active transport such as biking and walking. The restrictions that were used in Sweden was removed during early 2022, and the public transport use was expected to rise again. However the level of public transport use in 2022 did not reach the same level as 2019, making it apparent that the habits from the pandemic still affected the choice of travel. The purpose of the study was to investigate the travel choices that was established after covid-19, and to answer questions about travel habits and why one chose not to travel with public transport. An online survey was distributed in Kalmar, with questions about safety and habits of traveling. The respondents claimed their travel habits were currently the same as before the covid-19-pandemic. When it came to safety the respondents were confident in their travel choices and felt mostly safe, and the most prominent cause for worry was the risk of delays within public transport, rather than the risk of contracting a virus. The answers from the online survey was not what was expected from the studies done before, which have shown a decrease in use of public transport after covid-19. The result showed a positive attitude towards sustainable travel choices, and in the future it can be expected that the habits of the pandemic will be replaces by new habits of travel. / Minskade antal resor och att jobba hemifrån var två av covid-19-pandemins konsekvenser. De resor som utfördes var främst med bil eller cykel och gång, och kollektivtrafikens marknadsandel minskade signifikant. Covid-restriktionerna i Sverige togs bort tidigt under 2022, och de kollektiva resorna förväntades öka igen. Däremot blev den kollektiva marknadsandelen inte densamma som 2019. Vanorna som skapades under pandemin verkade fortfarande påverka resvalen. Syftet av studien var att undersöka vilka resvanor som utvecklades efter covid-19, med frågeställningar om resval efter pandemin och varför man valde att inte resa med kollektivtrafiken. Det delades ut en enkät till boende och besökande i Kalmar, med frågor angående resvanor och säkerhet när man reser. Resultatet visade att respondenterna ansåg att resvanorna de hade efter covid-19 var ungefär samma som innan covid-19. Vad det gällde säkerhet upplevde resenärerna att de kände sig mestadels säkra med alla resval, och anledningar till oro verkade främst handla om risk för förseningar, snarare än smittorisk. Svaren från enkäten var inte vad som förväntades. Tidigare studier visade att kollektivtrafikens marknadsandel minskade efter covid-19, vilket respondenterna själva inte upplevde. Resultatet visade däremot en positiv attityd kring hållbara resval, och man kan i framtiden förvänta sig att pandemivanorna kring resval ersätts med nya resvanor.
