Syftet är att undersöka hur det särskilda stöd som elever behöver för att nå målen motsvarar det som skolan erbjuder, och för att få svar på det undersöker vi det ur rektorns, specialpedagogens och elevens synvinkel. Vilka likheter och skillnader finns i tillvägagångssätt, behov, och det skolan ger mellan litteraturen vi läst och de intervjuer och enkätundersökningar vi gör. Vi har läst aktuell litteratur i form av böcker, rapporter och andra tryckta källor. I studien intervjuas en rektor, en specialpedagog. Vi gör en enkätundersökning bland 43 stycken elever i åk 8 och 9. Med hjälp av detta har vi då fått reda på hur sambandet mellan den hjälp som skolan erbjuder stämmer överens med den hjälp som dessa elever får. Det visar sig att antalet elever som är i behov av särskilt stöd ökar och i arbetet får vi fram olika exempel på vad som kan vara orsak till det. Har det ett samband med elevers språkkunskaper eller att antalet obehöriga lärare har ökat i samma takt som elever i behov av särskilt stöd ökar? Examensarbetet visar att i många fall får eleverna vad de har behov av, men också att det kan vara tvärtom på grund av olika anledningar som till exempel resursbrist, bristande kompetens hos personal. Det får inte vara de ekonomiska ramarna som avgör stödinsatserna utan det stöd som eleven behöver skall ges. / The purpose of this examination is to look at how pupils with special needs in school get help and if the needs they have correspond to the help they get. Which similarities and differences are there in procedure, need of help, between literature, interviews and surveys we are doing. We have read literature in form of books, studies and other printed sources. We have watched TV-interviews, made interviews and surveys to get as much relevant information as possible. With these qualitative and quantitative investigations we have a good base for this dissertation and it gives us the possibility to get answers of the purpose in a good way. With help of this we have found out how the relationship between the help that the school offers match those of the help that these students receive. It shows that the number of pupils that are in need of special support increases and in this essay we can see different examples of the possible cause of it. Does it relate to students language skills or the number of unauthorized teachers that have increased at the same rate as pupils with special needs. The examination shows that in most cases the pupils get the help they are in need of but it also shows the opposite because of different reasons. It can not be the economic limits that determine the support to be given but the support the pupil needs shall be given.
