Språkutvecklande undervisning inom samhällskunskapen : En allmän litteraturstudie om språkutveckling riktad mot årskurs 7–9

The purpose of the study is to investigate whether a language-development teaching in the social sciences could conceivably benefit multilingual students. As well as how it could have a snowball effect and is thought to increase understanding and equivalence in the classroom. The study is a general literature study aimed at compiling and reviewing various scientific texts on research on language development teaching. The result shows that there are development strategies and working methods for language development teaching in the social sciences, which not only support multilingual students but also those students who have the teaching language as their mother tongue and who need support in teaching. The study also shows how a language developmental teaching can lead to dialogue, understanding and community which, in accordance with the school curriculum and the social science curriculum, can be thought to reinforce the values that lie in a democratic society and in a cultural diversity.
