Många äldre upplever större otrygghet att utsättas för brott. Detta kan påverkaderas vardag negativt genom att de undviker platser eller situationer. Genom enkvalitativ ansats syftar denna studie till att undersöka äldres upplevda otrygghetoch utsatthet i Landskrona kommun. Varför de upplever otrygghet och vilkaeffekter som följer med otryggheten ligger i fokus. Resultatet av genomförd studievisar att äldre upplever otrygghet främst i offentlig miljö och efter mörkrets infall.Många väljer då istället en annan väg som är mer upplyst eller där det är mycketrörelse. Resultaten visar även att den upplevda otryggheten inte alltid stämmeröverens med den faktiska utsattheten. / Many older people experience greater insecurity and fear of crime. This canadversely affect their everyday lives by avoiding places or situations. Through aqualitative approach, this study aims at investigating the perceived insecurity andvulnerability of the elderly in Landskrona municipality. Why they areexperiencing insecurity and the effects that accompany uncertainty lie infocus.The result of the study conducted shows that the elderly experienceinsecurity primarily in the public environment in the evening. Many then chooseanother path that is more enlightened or where there is a lot of movement.The results also showed that the perceived insecurity does not always match theactual vulnerability.
