Previous issue date: 2010-06-14 / This qualitative-approach dissertation aims at presenting to elementary schools and
their teachers a reflection on my practice as an educator, potentialized in
postgraduate studies, whose focus was the value of bonds of affection between
teachers and students in the final years of elementary school. Authors such as
Humberto Romesin Maturana, Georges Snyders, Lúcia Maria Vaz Peres, Juremir
Machado da Silva and Marcel Postic were adopted as theoretical references for
showing epistemological strictness and devotion to the affective dimension in
pedagogic relationships and to aspects referring to the contributions of the Imaginary
to Education. The basis of the research essentially consists of the voice of teenage
students of Afonso Vizeu City School, located in the city of Pelotas-RS, through the
representation of what they think about bonds of affection between students and
teachers. The empiric data of this dissertation resulted from the application of the
following techniques: Free Association of Words , Free Drawing and Writing
Fragments . Through the analysis, it was revealed the importance students give to
bonds of affection in school quotidian, especially to the friendly, funny, happy,
sympathetic, reaching and always-standing-by teacher figure / Esta dissertação de Mestrado, de abordagem qualitativa, objetiva apresentar, às
escolas e aos educadores de Ensino Fundamental, uma reflexão sobre a minha
prática como professora, potencializada nos estudos realizados no Mestrado, cujo
foco foi a valoração dos vínculos afetivos entre professores (as) e estudantes das
séries finais do ensino fundamental. Autores como Humberto Romesin Maturana,
Georges Snyders, Lúcia Maria Vaz Peres, Juremir Machado da Silva, Marcel Postic
foram adotados como referencial teórico por apresentarem rigor e zelo
epistemológico à dimensão afetiva nas relações pedagógicas e aos aspectos
relativos às contribuições do Imaginário à Educação. A matéria-prima da pesquisa
tem como essência a voz de estudantes da Escola Municipal Afonso Vizeu,
localizada no município de Pelotas RS, com a representação destes sobre o que
pensam a respeito dos vínculos afetivos entre estudantes e professores(as). Os
dados empíricos da dissertação resultaram da aplicação do uso das técnicas
Associação Livre de Palavras , desenho livre e fragmentos de escrita . Através da
análise foi desvelada a importância que os estudantes atribuem aos vínculos
afetivos no cotidiano escolar, principalmente, na figura de um professor amigo,
divertido, alegre, companheiro, que toca, que está próximo
