em Dois irmãos, de Milton Hatoum, e Leite derramado, de Chico Buarque,
denunciam um passado marcado por ruínas e angústias e, ao mesmo tempo,
revelam o perfil dos narradores dos romances. À luz do ferramental teórico da
Semiótica, o objetivo deste trabalho é examinar as estratégias mobilizadas
nessas obras, para verificar, a partir do uso que cada narrador faz da narrativa
de memória, como se delineia esse perfil no discurso. Através de um
mapeamento geral das obras, analisa-se a organização das estruturas
sintáticas, a dimensão patêmica do discurso, a aspectualização actancial
conferida aos sujeitos e as figuras que revestem as narrativas e evidenciam a
temática da decadência / Shaped by memories and forgetfulness, the paths of memory traced in Dois
irmãos, by Milton Hatoum, and Leite derramado, by Chico Buarque, denounce a
past marked by ruins and anguish and, at the same time, reveal the profile of
the narrators of the novels. In the light of the theoretical tools of Semiotics, the
aim of this study is to examine the strategies deployed in these novels in order
to verify, from each narrator’s memory narrative, how this profile is determined.
Therefore, the organization of syntactical structures, the passions of speech,
the subjects aspectualization given to the narrators and the figures that cover
the stories and highlight the theme of decay will be analyzed through a general
mapping of both novels
