This dissertation addresses the clandestine militant women against Brazilian civil-military dictatorship, in order to understand how their actions influence the formation of the national women's movement. We discussed, from gender and memory concepts, the main aspects that make up its narrative about the period, emphasizing the perception Second Wave of feminism as a social movement that initially was being articulated. Likewise, we analyzed the importance of the women membership in the articulation of the national women's movement. Based on the propositions listed in the Oral History, we interviewed seven women who fought against the Brazilian dictatorship in order to investigate how and if there are evidences that gender permeate in their narratives. In order to complement the main source of research, we used some documents and periodicals of clandestine organizations from that time to visualize if the feminist slant demands were addressed in those spaces. Analyzing these sources we realized that women's participation in the resistance groups had a huge importance for the perception hitherto prevalent, which the socialist revolution would solve the problems arising from the gender, were left out, considering that in the relations between fellow militants, the social roles determined men and women were, most often, maintained. After the decimation of leftist groups many activists began to act in the feminist movement and timidly creating a new form of militancy. We recognized an intrinsic relationship between the memorials rearrangements on feminism and its demands and the subsequent advocacy or research related to it. Thus, we concluded that the militancy against the dictatorship was essential to form the national women's movement in that context freedom?s restriction. 2015. 139f.
