<p>Från kunskapens öar till den ömsesidiga insiktens fastland Ett pedagogiskt utvecklingsarbete för en personalutbildning med förankring i praktiken Anne Johansson Olsson Sammanfattning Denna uppsats redovisar ett utvecklingsarbete kring utformandet av en så kallad arbetsplatsanpassad utbildning. Arbetet bedrevs i samverkan mellan Transkulturellt Centrum (TC) i Stockholms Läns Landsting och Lina Hage samt Wasa vårdcentraler i Södertälje. Projektet syftade till att via inledande arbete, inventering av utbildningsbehov, utbildningsplanering, genomförande och utvärdering skapa en modell för en utbildning med fokus på vårdpersonalens möte med patienter som har erfarenhet av migration. Vårdcentralerna stod i början av 2007, i begrepp att inleda ett arbete med en delvis ny patientgrupp, asylsökande och nyanlända flyktingar samt anhöriginvandrare. Arbetet innebar ett förbättrat och utvidgat mottagande med erbjudande om hälsosamtal och till de asylsökande även en primärvård som motsvarade den övriga befolkningens. TC fick med anledning av detta, i uppdrag att utveckla en utbildning för kompetenshöjning inom området. Ansvaret för utvecklingsarbetet och projektet låg på TC och syftet var att planera och genomföra en utbildning med innehåll och struktur relaterade till personalens aktuella behov, kunskaper och erfarenheter. I arbetet lades stor vikt vid ett praxisnära förhållningssätt som metod. I bakgrunden ges med anledning av detta en beskrivning av begreppet ”praxisnära forskning”. Olika synsätt på innebörden av begreppet presenteras liksom förhållningssätt och forskarens roll. I uppsatsen redovisas steg för steg hur projektet genomfördes och i diskussionen redogörs för de ändrade förutsättningar som projektet ställdes inför under arbetets gång. Här diskuteras också aspekter på metoden när det gäller att inventera utbildningsbehov och tolka begreppet bemötande. Mot bakgrund av deltagarnas utvärdering diskuteras begreppen kompetens, ny kunskap och praxisanknutet. Nyckelord: Personalutbildning, praxisnära forskning, bemötande, kunskap och kompetens.</p><p>From the islands of knowledge to the mainland of mutual insight A pedagogical work of development for a staff training program based on practice Anne Johansson Olsson Abstract This paper describes a work of development for the design of a “tailormade” training programme for medical staff at health clinics. The work was carried out in cooperation between Transcultural Center (TC) within the Stockholm County Council and Lina Hage and Wasa primary health clinics in Södertälje. The project aimed at creating a model for a training programme for medical professionals encountering patients with experience of migration. The project included an inventory of training needs, and the planning, operation and assessment of the programme. In the beginning of 2007 the health clinics were starting to work with a new group of patients consisting of asylum seekers, newly arrived refugees and migrators with family ties in Sweden. The work ment an improved and widened reception scheme including an offer of a health interview and for asylum seekers primary health care equivalent to what is offered to residents. TC was commissioned to lead the work of developing an education aiming at improved competence within the field. TC had the responsibility for the development and the operation of the project. The aim was to design and carry out an education with a content and structure based on the actual needs of the staff and their knowledge and experience. In the work the method of working closely with everyday practise was emphasized. For this reason a description of “research close to practice” will be found in the background of this paper. Different views on the meaning of the concept are presented as well as the approach and the roll of the researcher. The paper presents, step by step, how the project was planned and implemented. The changing circumstances which the project faced over time, are also presented. Aspects concerning the method of inventory of education needs and the interpretation of the key concept reception are also discussed. In the context of participant evaluation the concepts of competence, new knowledge and research close to practise are discussed.
