Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur kuratorer som arbetar inom hälso- och sjukvården, där LARO-mottagningar är verksamma, upplever sitt arbete med patienterna, trots den oklarhet som råder kring deras arbetsuppgifter, samt hur de ser på vikten av goda relationer i ett socialt arbete. Empirin samlades in genom fyra semistrukturerade intervjuer med kuratorer som arbetar på LARO-mottagningar. Vidare har KASAM och systemteori använts som teoretiska utgångspunkter. Den insamlade empirin har analyserats utifrån de två valda teorierna och kunskapsläget. En av de centrala utgångspunkterna i denna studie var att informanterna redogjorde för den oklarhet som råder kring deras arbetsuppgifter. Informanterna resonerade kring deras arbete som ensamprofession och de utmaningar man ställs inför när man ska bedriva ett socialt arbete i en medicinsk kontext. En annan aspekt som informanterna skildrar var hur viktigt relationsskapande och bemötande är i förändringsarbetet med patienterna. / The aim of this study was to investigate how curators working in health care, where Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opiate Addiction is operate, experience their work with patients, despite the uncertainty surrounding their work tasks and the importance of good relationship in social work. The empirical data was collected through four semi-structured interviews with social workers working in a medication-assisted treatment for opiate addiction. Furthermore, KASAM and systems theory has been used as the theoretical starting points. The collected empiricism has been analyzed on the basis of the two theories and the state of knowledge. One of the central points in this study was the uncertainty surrounding the informants tasks. The informants reasoned about being alone in their profession of social work, and the challenges they face when conducting a social work in a medical context. Another aspect that the informants portrayed was the importance of relationship building and approaching in the work with their patients.
