[pt] Corroborando com a proposta teórica por uma análise crítica sobre as operações de paz, esta pesquisa, embasando-se nas perspectivas feministas e pós-colonais de Relações Internacionais e em diálogo com a teoria feminista crítica da Geografia, evidencia a ambiguidade do Brasil como pacificador durante a MINUSTAH. Sustentando que a performance brasileira na operação de paz da ONU no Haiti deve ser analisada como um encontro das histórias haitianas e do Brasil este estudo examina como desde a descoberta de Cristóvão Colombo, em 1492, até a performance de oficiais verde-amarelos - com sua própria história de pacificação anterior à MINUSTAH - de capacetes-azuis, que começou em 2004 e continua em exercício, a relação entre uma força estrangeira em solo haitiano com os haitianos tem tido gênero e raça como locais de produção de fronteiras. Olhando para esse encontro e locais a performance militar brasileira é entendida como ambígua devido à sua constante reprodução contingente de gênero e raça como locais de produção de fronteiras. / [en] Following the theoretical proposal for a critical analysis about peace operations, this research, embedded by feminists and postcolonials perspectives and in dialogue with feminist critical theory of Geography, highlight the ambiguity of Brazil as a pacificator during the MINUSTAH. Arguing that the Brazilian performance in the UN peace operation in Haiti must be analyzed as an encounter of Haitian and Brazilian histories this study examines how since the Christopher Columbus discovery, in 1492, until the green and yellow military performance (with their own history of pacification previous to the MINUSTAH) with blue helmet, which started in 2004 and it is ongoing, the relationship between a foreign force in Haitian soil with Haitians have had gender and race as sites where boundaries are produced. Looking at this encounter and theses sites the Brazilian military performance is understood as ambiguous due to the constant contingent reproduction of gender and race as sites where boundaries are produced.
