The thesis generally analyzes functions and content of retail web sites. Author uses his experience from his current employment, where he administers web site of one of the main retail chains in the Czech Republic. Importance of this subject is seen in its recency, when the usage of internet rises in many human activities and shopping is one of them. The aim of this document is to find characteristics of today's market and based on these it tries to predict trends that will influence the shape of commerce on internet in near future.

<p> As older adults increasingly make use of the Internet to enhance their personal and professional lives, the study of web site usability for older adults is becoming increasingly relevant. Web site usability is concerned with both utilitarian (i.e. functional) and hedonic (i.e. pleasure-related) aspects. This study explores the impact of age on select utilitarian (mental model accuracy and performance) and hedonic (disorientation and engagement) measures of web site usability, and the subsequent impact of these utilitarian and hedonic measures on user satisfaction. A laboratory experiment was conducted where 50 younger and 51 older participants interacted with an experimental web site. The results of the PLS analysis suggest that age has a more pronounced impact on utilitarian constructs than hedonic ones. Specifically, older adults were less able to create an accurate mental model of the web site and in turn had poorer performance with the web site. In terms of impact on user satisfaction, the contribution of hedonic constructs was significant while the impact of utilitarian constructs was not. </p> / Thesis / Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Importance of web services increases as the technology improves and the need for the challenging e-commerce strategies increases. This thesis focuses on web market analysis of web sites by evaluating from the perspectives of static, dynamic and content. Firstly, web site evaluation methods and web analytic tools are introduced. Then evaluation methodology is described from three perspectives. Finally, results obtained from the evaluation of 113 web sites are presented as well as their correlations.

In my thesis, I focused on optimalization web sites for full-text search engines and other forms of promotion in the context of the Internet. The goal of my work is to apply various means of optimizing and promotion website to its life cycle and the ongoing processes in this life cycle. To achieve the goals I set out as follows thesis divided into three relatively independent parts. The first part is devoted to describing the life cycle of web and selected processes taking place in this life cycle. The second part is devoted to descriptions of individual resources optimization and promotion web. In the final section, I described the means to apply optimization and promotion web site life cycle and processes associated with it, which I have described and illustrated in the first part of the work.

This project is a web based application tha provides a friendly and simple interface to let users easily record and modify their travel experiences anytime or anywhere.

This project will cover front-end web site development, back-end database design and security. This website provides secure access to information about ideas for projects, status on on-going projects, and reports of finished projects using My SQL and Apache Tomcat.
