A atuação pedagógica do professor-arquiteto no contexto da cultura digital

Poletto, Simone Nichele 24 August 2015 (has links)
Submitted by Ana Guimarães Pereira (agpereir@ucs.br) on 2016-01-27T17:44:58Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertacao Simone Nichele Poletto.pdf: 2202843 bytes, checksum: 1d1f2e6a81147e77210f962487ecb861 (MD5) / Made available in DSpace on 2016-01-27T17:44:58Z (GMT). (2006), and Orciuoli (2010); on creativity, supported by studies performed by Guimarães (1995) and Andrade (2006); and on architectural language, from studies by Carvalho et.al. (2002) e Matos et. al. (2010). And also to list categories emerging from the research corpus in order to interpret and present arguments expressing the understanding on the architect-professor’s profile. For that purpose, a historical research was carried out on education in architecture in order to understand how we have come to the current practices; a study on the influence of digital technology on creativity, on architectural language and as a support for creating; having its theoretical basis on Vygotsky’s social-interactionism (1998, 1990, 2001). The methodological approach started with individual semi-structured interviews, based on Gil (2009), carried out with 5 architect-professors who teach the course on architectural project using digital technology in the projecting process. The research corpus was treated under the lens of discourse text analysis proposed by Moares e Galiazzi (2007), characterizing the investigation as a qualitative research. Based on that discourse textual analysis, some categories emerged and they were interweaved with the research corpus and the theoretical references, resulting in a metatext, which expresses the comprehension we have reached on the architect-professor’s profile, endorsed by what the interviewees say and by the theoretical references, inferring that, to use digital technology as a learning tool and to Interact with the students, the architect-professor has to be inserted in the digital culture and to have qualified pedagogically. And we conclude the investigation having met the specific purposes established for the study and describing the architect-professor’s profile in face of the challenges arising from the presence of digital technology in the educational process of the architectural project course.

A prática profissional do arquiteto em discussão / The architect´s professional practice under discussion

Francisco Segnini Junior 24 June 2002 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to analyze the professional practice and the relationship that the production of the architectonic project, understood as the expression of art and technique, has with the market. The analyzed objRect is made of statements and interviews of 206 architects selected from 91 issues of AU Architecture and Urbanism magazine, from 1985 to 2000. This period is particularly significant because in theses fifteen years changes like the intensification of the social, economic and political phenomenon called globalization and the diffusion of informatic have been observed. These changes have altered the project production and in the national political context it means the ending of the military period. The main hypotheses of this research is the tension between art, technique and market, observed in the architect professional practice since renaissance and which is intensified in the globalization context.

A construção do significado em uma trajetória projetual / Building meaning through a personal architectural experience

José Luiz Tabith Júnior 19 October 2007 (has links)
This work is done to prove that the architectonical knowledge can be developed through the architectural design practice, since it is followed by permanent theoretical research. According to the evolution of this architect production it is possible, searching for a consistent and contemporaneous meaning, to demonstrate that the development of his projects presents four main phases. As a preparation for this research, the work presents considerations about the two contemporaneous themes, the pluralism and the image on architecture. The constant critical thought, added to the knowledge of the work of other generations architects, are essential for this work. The evolution of our idea ends with the description of the method of the project used, which results from a 25 year professional experience.

Desenho universal e a NBR 9050:2004 : contribuições para projetos de arquitetura / Universal design and the NBR 9050:2004 : contributions for architecture design

Martin, Claudia Maria, 1964- 23 August 2018 (has links)
Orientador: Núbia Bernardi / Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Faculdade de Engenharia Civil, Arquitetura e Urbanismo / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-23T17:00:09Z (GMT). The need to produce accessible architecture is increasingly asked for and therefore it is important for designers to fully understand the difference between the concept of "accessible" architecture and the concept of "universal" architecture. While accessible design attends Technical Standards by ensuring the accessibility of environments for people with disabilities and/or with reduced mobility, universal design is based on the principles of Universal Design (UD) and aims to provide spaces that do not segregate and that serve the biggest number of diversities. This study demonstrated the difference between these concepts adding the concepts of UD to the accessibility parameters presented in the Brazilian technical standard NBR 9050:2004, that deals with accessibility of buildings, furniture, spaces and urban equipment and is the main reference in Brazil for technical orientation towards accessible architecture solutions. The methodology included an analysis of the content of publications relating to questions of accessibility in the built environment and a search of examples and conceptual guidelines to incorporate UD principles into architectural designs. The result of this study was the creation of a document to help designers during their design process and project development. This document connects some accessibility parameters synchronously contained in the standard NBR 9050:2004 with the concepts of UD, facilitating the understanding of these concepts for their application in architectural design. Thus this research contributes to the development of design solutions that express more clearly the concepts of a universal architecture / Mestrado / Arquitetura, Tecnologia e Cidade / Mestra em Arquitetura, Tecnologia e Cidade

Computational intelligence technology for the generation of building layouts combined with multi-agent furniture placement

Bijker, Jacobus Jan 02 November 2012 (has links)
M.Sc. (Computer Science) / This dissertation presents a method for learning from existing building designs and generating new building layouts. Generating fully furnished building layouts could be very useful for video games or for assisting architects when designing new buildings. The core concern is to drastically reduce the workload required to design building layouts. The implemented prototype features a Computer Aided Design system, named CABuilD that allows users to design fully furnished multi-storey building layouts. Building layouts designed using CABuilD can be taught to an Artificial Immune System. The Artificial Immune System tracks information such as building layouts, room sizes and furniture layouts. Once building layouts has been taught to the artificial immune system, a generation algorithm can utilise the information in order to generate fully furnished building layouts. The generation algorithm that is presented allows fully furnished buildings to be generated from high-level information such as the number of rooms to include and a building perimeter. The presented algorithm differs from existing building generation methods in the following ways: Firstly existing methods either ignore building perimeters or assume a buildings perimeter is a rectangle. The presented method allows the user to specify a closed polygon as a building perimeter which will guide the generation of the building layout. Secondly existing generation methods tend to run from a set of rules. The implemented system learns from existing building layouts, effectively allowing it to generate different building types based on the building layouts that were taught to the system. Thirdly, the system generates both the building layout as well as the furniture within rooms. Existing systems only generate the building layout or the furniture, but not both. The prototype that was implemented as a proof of concept uses a number of biologically inspired techniques such as Ant algorithms, Particle Swarm Optimisation and Artificial Immune Systems. The system also employs multiple intelligent agents in order to furnished rooms. The prototype is capable of generating furnished building layouts in merely a few seconds, much faster than a human could design such a layout. Possible improvements and future work is presented at the end of the dissertation.
