El presente proyecto se desarrolla a través de la descripción del sector automotriz y el comportamiento en el que se desarrolla. Asimismo, se realiza la investigación de diferentes herramientas de Ingeniería Industrial que puedan ser aplicadas dentro del alcance de la industria o sector que se desarrolla en el mercado peruano. La empresa se dedica importación y comercialización de vehículos de diferentes marcas. Actualmente cuenta con el 23% de la participación del mercado automotriz peruano y con un crecimiento del 12.4% en promedio. Durante el periodo de evaluación se puedo detectar que los reclamos representan un 28.5% para el año 2017 y un lead time promedio de 58 días de todo el proceso.
La implementación se desarrolló a partir de la herramienta Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kanban, y distribución de planta permitió reducir en un 63% el lead time, reducir a 5 órdenes de entrega vehiculares y optimizar de 9 a 6 procesos de nivel. La mejora permitió obtener un beneficio económico bajo un escenario conservador de S/ 430, 598 soles y una TIR de 31.52%. / The present project is developed through the description of the automotive sector and the behavior in which it develops. Likewise, research is carried out on different Industrial Engineering tools that can be applied within the scope of the industry or sector that is developed in the Peruvian market. The company is engaged in importing and marketing vehicles of different brands. It currently has 23% of the participation of the Peruvian automotive market and an average growth of 12.4%. During the evaluation period, it can be detected that the claims represent 28.5% for the year 2017 and an average lead time of 58 days for the whole process.
The implementation was developed from the tool Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kanban, and plant distribution allowed to reduce lead time by 63%, reduce to 5 vehicle delivery orders and optimize from 9 to 6 level processes. The following research part is devoted to a theoretical introduction to the current concepts of organization and management of the production process with emphasis on the description of the philosophy of lean manufacturing and its individual tools and components, especially in detail the 5S tool. The main part of the work are chapters dealing with the description of the current situation in the selected industrial enterprise, analysis of deviations from the current 5S standards and the proposal of new 5S standards, including the definition of new control mechanisms. At the end of the work is a technical and economic evaluation of the proposal.

This part also suggests a possible layout modification at the production site and simulation of proposed changes in Plant Simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. At the end of the work there are changes described that relate mainly to the philosophy 5S, kanban system or ergonomics of the workplace.

My thesis presents the process of electromagnet production, including how the process is organised. My goal is to improve these techniques by refining them. To obtain the required data, the company's records were extracted and measurements were taken directly from the manufacturing process. Through examination of the data, any processes which created financial or temporal deficits were identified. Conclusions were then offered to solve these problem areas. These mainly involve alterations to the machinery settings, the delivery of materials and the management of production.
