Neznámý harfový manuskript od Elias Pari sh Alvarse v archivu Českého muzea hudby v Praze / An unknown Manuscript for a Harp by Elias Parish Alvars in the czech Muzeum of Music

Carrara, Simona January 2012 (has links)
Until now among the works catalogue of the harpist and composer Elias Perish Alvars there was no trace of a composition called " Grande Fantasie sur des Airs Nationaux Anglais" for solo harp. We have found it in the library archive of the Czech Museum of Music in Prague: it is a manuscript autographed by the composer, dated 1843 and never publishe before. The main section of the dissertation regards the manuscript itself. The studying of it has been faced from a formal, harmonic, stylistic and historic point of view. After an introduction about the "Fantasia" every air is examined in detail, without leaving out the historic information behind every section. The most important part is then the critical edition of the manuscript that respects very carefully all the indications made by Parish Alvars in person. After a section to the enchanting figure of the composer, his life, works and the period he had lived in, the work gives references also to the double action pedal harp that had the main role in the harp music harp since its patent of 18140. The "Grande Fantasie" interesting discovery is composition and we are glad to present it in this dissertation work.

Služba jáhna ve farnosti v kontextu současné teologie. Hledání místa trvalého jáhna v církvi na základě výzkumu provedeného v českých a moravských diecézích. / The service of the deacon in the parish in the context of contemporary theology. Searching for the Place of a Permanent Deacon in the Church on the basis of research realized in the Czech and Moravian dioceses.

FUJDL, Martin January 2018 (has links)
This pastoral theological work is focused on clarification of the identity of deacon service and the permanent deacons' placement in the Czech and Moravian parishes, regarding to the Catholic Church at the beginning of the 21st century. The starting point of this work is the historical development of the diaconate and its theological reflection. The current situation of the Czech Particular Churches is, with all the respect, very specific and not sufficiently described yet. That is why I've partly focused on the empirical research (2011 and 2012) where I was searching for answers to the fundamental questions concerning the identity of the diaconate as a connection to the historical and theological part of my work. The target group of respondents was consisted of parishioners, priests, bishops, and deacons who had been active in parish pastoral work. The empirical research has revealed some positive and negative aspects associated with this sacramental service and helped to suggest some changes to the pastoral involvement of the permanent deacons in the Czech Republic. As a result of this research, the deacon service is truly an important part of the sacramental life in the Church and it is indispensable. However, concerning its true identity, surely it is more than important to seek and create specific space for the role of permanent deacons in such a way that their positions don't play only a vicarious role, as we experience these days. The theses that have come out of this work might help partialy to solve this problem.

Les chantiers d’églises paroissiales à Paris aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles / Building parish churches in Paris at the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries

Losserand, Léonore 18 March 2017 (has links)
Paris under the first Bourbons is a flourishing time for religious building, amongt which parish churches form a category of their own. As worships related to a urban territory, parish churches are funded and built by many-faceted clients, with sometimes conflicting interests : marguilliers, priests, parishioners. Held by financial constraints specific to their case, projects for these churches needed to adjust to the accounts of factories and to the day-to-day activity of parishioners, for decades. Projects of buildfing or total rebuilding are the subject of this study : Saint-Jacques-du-Haut-Pas (1630 – c.1690), Saint-Sulpice (1646 –c.1791), Saint-Roch (1633 and 1653 – 1740), Saint-Nicolas-du-Chardonnet (1656 – c.1720), Saint-Louis-en-l’Île (1656 – vers 1735), and Sainte-Marguerite (from 1624). Establishing the project, whether it is global or partial, sometimes precede the start of the construction by far, and the church’s consecration does not always mean that the shell has been finished. From the project until the final adjunctions (façade, chapel, etc.) through the digging of foundations or discontinuations of work, the process of parish building reveals a permanent aspect, on perpetual renewal. However, these churches are built with techniques and materials of common use at the time in the Parisian basin, by a great number of craftmen, although not well documented.Through the restitution of the different stemps of the project, a face is given to history of modern construction.

Secolarizzazione e ricomposizione del sacro in Italia : il caso delle comunità parrocchiali della Garfagnana / Sécularisation et recomposition du sacré en Italie : le cas des communautés paroissiales de la Garfagnana / Secularisation and recomposition of the sacred in Italy : the case of parish communities in Garfagnana

Rossi, Chiara 24 March 2016 (has links)
This study, included in the wider debate regarding the secularisation process, mainly focuses on the ways in which nowadays secularisation and de-secularisation can coexist in a specific context, convening, at times adding to each other, and thus generating, through a process of decomposition and recomposition of the sacred, unavoidable consequences on individual actions and collective dynamics. Through an ethnographic approach, based on inter-knowledge, on participant observation techniques and on numerous in-depth interviews, the research examines the ongoing changes within a transitioning rural universe, which is remodelling spaces and structures of its religious belief system. The research was carried out in a small valley in Northern Italy (Garfagnana) and the main focus of the study was the parish. In this context, this institution has been over the centuries an important reference point, not only for the religious universe but also for the civil community and still today represents the privileged means by which the church creates and maintains the networkof bonds with its worshippers. The analysis of the dynamics by which , within a parish community, these bonds are preserved, recreated and nurtured has led us towards understanding the catholic identity of this particular region, highlighting the modalities, the motivations and the consequences of religious beliefs, on both an individual and collective level, of the many categories of participants.

The Struggle of the Lesotho Evangelical Church in Southern Africa (LECSA)/Paris Evangelical Missionary Society (PEMS) in Meadowlands, Soweto, in becoming a missional ecclesia in a local context

Kganyapa, Leonard Tsidiso January 2016 (has links)
The existence of the Lesotho Evangelical Church in Southern Africa (LECSA) or Paris Evangelical Missionary Society (PEMS) in the Western Areas of Johannesburg, South Western Township (Soweto) and more poignantly, Meadowlands and their forced removals experience is succinctly captured. The struggle of the LECSA/PEMS Meadowlands Parish in becoming a missional ecclesia in a sea of missional challenges in her context are vividly spelt out. They, inter alia, include constitutional matters, language policy, finances, ministerial preparation, lay-ministry development, institutionalisation of ministry, unity issues, prophetic ministry, mission and evangelism. The researcher, then, proposes an intervention – of course not a perfect one – that perhaps will galvanise the LECSA/PEMS Meadowlands Parish members to improve on what they have been doing and become a missional ecclesia in her context, Meadowlands. / Dissertation (MA)--University of Pretoria, 2016. / tm2016 / Science of Religion and Missiology / MA / Unrestricted

The findings are based on the results of questionnaires and they are subsequently arranged into individual sections. The sections consist of the parts called "I (deacon's wife)" - "Children" - "Parish" - "Clergy". The aim of the thesis was gained with the assessment and the classification of the research results based on questionnaires and their subsequent presentation. The presentation conducts a survey of the situation in such families from the perspective of the permanent deacons' wives, in other words, it charts the situation of the families whose father is a permanent deacon.
