Komparativní studie obrazu ženské krásy v lifestylových časopisech pro ženy a pro muže: Analýza portrétů žen na fotografiích ve vybraných časopisech v první polovině roku 2012 / Comparative study of a presentation of women's beauty in lifestyle magazines for men and women:

Nunvářová, Petra January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis Comparative study of a presentation of women's beauty in lifestyle magazines for men and women suggests the hypothesis that the image of women's beauty is modified according to the target group of the media. As to support or falsify the thought, there are analysed chosen photographs of women in four Czech lifestyle magazines, specifically in ELLE, ForMen, Cosmopolitan and Esquire. Chosen method of semiotic analysis and description helps define the differences between image of women's beauty in the pictures. In order to interpret the pictures in broader context, the first half of work deals with the development of aesthetic theories and various scientific views of beauty as well as theories about presumed media influence. The results of the analysis are interpreted and explained on the grounds the theoretical base. Besides the evaluation of the primary hypotheses there are also noted other theoretical findings. The document is closed by comments of authoress on the issue based on already written theories.

Léčivy navozené dysbalance sodíku / Drug induced imbalance of sodium

Šteflová, Iveta January 2014 (has links)
Iveta Šteflová Drug induced imbalance of sodium Diploma thesis Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Pharmacy Department of Biological and Medical Science Supervisor: Doc.MUDr. Josef Herink, DrSc. Sodium (Na+ ) is the major extracellular cation. It plays an important role in maintaining membrane potential and depolarization that is the basic mechanism of transmission of the nerve impulse. It is involved in maintaining acid-base balance, osmotic pressure, water retention in the body. The largest part of the sodium is in the extracellular fluid where it is stored about 50 % of sodium. Plasma concentration of sodium is 140 ± 5 mmol/l. Drug-induced electrolyte disorders are increasingly reported and may be associated with considerable morbidity and mortality. The risk of drug-induced hyponatremia is generally higher than the risk of drug-induced hypernatremia. Hyponatremia is a common electrolyte disorder defined as a decrease plasma sodium concentration below 135 mmol/l. It is classified by the state of volume - hypovolemic, euvolemic and hypervolemic hyponatremia. It reflects the relative rate between sodium and water in the body. The most common cause is the syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone that induces euvolemic hyponatremia. Hypernatremia is...

Parametrizace vzniku kaverny náhradních materiálů u normované a speciální vojenské munice / Parametrization of substitute material in caverns standard and special military munitions

Mucha, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
Title of thesis: Ballistic cavity origin characterisation; auxiliary materials of a standardised or a special military ammunition. Aim of thesis: The goal of this work is to provide a regularising framework suggesting structural changes of the auxiliary materials in the impact zone of the various ammunition. Methods: A ballistic experiment based upon the piercing test of various ammunition types. For these tests different barrier materials were used (e.g. glycerine, soap, ballistic gel). A comparative study of the various physical aspects of the cavities was exercised. Several diagnostic methods such as dimensions verification, water volume measurement, projectile speed radar check, computer tomography or the high speed camera were used to determine the secondary cavity specifics. Results: This thesis identified several key parameters determining projectile behaviour in the auxiliary materials. The major determinants were: speed, position or homogeneity of the projectile on the impact. However the major parameter defining the "injury level" was the concluded that the highest Injury level has the prohibited "fragmentation effect ammunition". On the other hand it was pointed out that so called "Black Mamba" projectiles have lower injury effect, although manufactore claims otherwise. Key words:...
