This thesis deals with the design changes of intake and exhaust systems of naturally aspirated combustion engine with the aim to improve its dynamic characteristics. An overview of intake and exhaust tract designs (together with their impact on the engine efficiency) is provided in the introductory part of the thesis. Based on this knowledge, modifications of the intake and exhaust systems of Ford Windsor V8 engine were proposed and installed in a vehicle. A series of dynamic and static tests on chassis dynamometer were carried out in order to measure the impact of the changes on the torque curve. The impacts of the changes are presented in detailed analysis of power and torque characteristics with respect to the engine speed. The results are discussed and the possible causes of observed phenomena are identified.

Title: Differences in game acts at the baseline among youth and adult categories in tennis. Goals: The aim is to find out where on the court the players move in time of hitting the ball, if they "circle it" and to what extent. We'll compare the results through youth and adult categories. Method: Using a structured observation we observed the position of the players during the match on the court and the representation of single strokes during the game. Results: The results show the differences in game acts among all categories: the position of the player during the hit of the ball, the percentage of forehands and backhands in the game and success and effectiveness of strokes from the baseline. Title of diploma thesis: Results of parasitological diagnosis and evaluation of drug administrations in population of wisents in the game enclosure Židlov II This diploma thesis continues on the thesis "Results of parasitological diagnosis and evaluation of drug administrations in population of wisents in the game enclosure Židlov I." This second part deals with the examination of parazitostatus of an acclimatization enclosure after the release of bisons into the game enclosure Židlov. Parazitostatus of the acclimatization enclosure was tested by biological study using sheep. A nine sheep herd was placed, on the vegetation season, into acclimatization object and spend there 7 months. For another 3 months (winter season) this herd was stabled in the breeding object, then 6 pieces were butchered and then undergoed parasitological autopsy. Samples of fresh droppings of these sheep were, across the whole period of biological studies, coprologically examined for the presence of trematode eggs. Findings were in all cases negative. The thesis considers alternative treatments, specifically acupuncture, and its application in the Czech Republic from the patient's perspective and provides an overview of basic knowledge about acupuncture. Aim: The main objective of this study was to find out, what is the therapeutic use of acupuncture in adult patients. Aim of subtask was to evaluate overall opinion and attitude of patients to the entire area of complementary and alternative medicine. Methods: The survey was focused on patients, who are using acupuncture for treatment regardless of gender, age and education. For data collection was chosen method questionnaire survey. Presented thesis deals with monitoring of parazitostatus in small bison (Bison bonasus) pop- ulation bred in game enclosure Židlov during the years 2011 - 2012, its evaluation, designing appro- priate anthelmintic administrations and assessing therapeutical effects. Several parasites were iden- tified with the use of ovoscopic and larvoscopic methods focused on trematodes, parasites of gastrointestinal tract and lungs; fluke, roundworm (Chabertia ovina, Ostertagia spp., Trichuris spp.) and tapeworm eggs (Moniezia spp.) were determined. The thesis "The Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Sewage Disposal Plant in Náměšt nad Oslavou" compares the effectiveness of two wastewater treatment technologies, the first and the current one. The practical part deals with the importance of treatment of sewage and the overview of the legislation dealing with water. It also describes the types of wastewater, some indicators of pollution of water from sewage and particular possibilities for wastewater treatment. The practical part contains a description of wastewater management in the town. It also describes of the historically first and the current wastewater treatment technologies and contains the survey of the water permits intended for water management. The chapters "Evaluation of Results" include graphs of the results of the analytical control of wastewater and the defined flow rates. The results show that the first-ever sewage disposal plant was insufficient for the needs of the city, which led to the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant. The existing wastewater treatment technology is adapted to the current needs of the city and is also taking into account its future development. The existing wastewater treatment plant fulfills the minimum requirement values of the wastewater treatment efficiency. The concentration of the pollution of wastewater at the wastewater treatment plant does not exceed the prescribed emission standards. The hydraulic and substance demand on the technology achieves the mean value.

The thesis deals with assessment of the effect of pH value, temperature, concentration of toxic forms of nitrogen, concentration of dissolved oxygen and other factors on the process of start-up of the nitrification reactor serving for biological pre-treatment of fugate. Another objective of this thesis is to assess the effect of the conditions prevailing in the reactor on the efficiency of transformation of N-ammon to oxidized forms of nitrogen. During the system start-up, nitrifying activated sludge sampled from the regeneration zone of the activation process at the Central Waste Water Treatment Plant in Prague was used as inoculum. The laboratory model with suspended biomass consisted of a nitrification reactor, the working volume of which was 1.5 l in the first part of the experiment and 5 l in the second part of the experiment. The system start-up lasted from 17 April 2015 to approximately 12 May 2015 (days 0 to 32). N-ammon concentration in the inflow ranged from 1660 mg/l to 3000 mg/l. Volume loading of ammonia-nitrogen in the reactor ranged from 0.1 to 0.4 kg/(m3.d). During the experiment, the dissolved oxygen concentration ranged 3.6 to 6.8 mg/l, and the temperature range was 23 C°. The performed experiment confirmed that it is possible to start up and maintain longterm the nitrification process also in fugate from a biogas station. It has been proved that despite the extreme characteristics of fugate, the nitrification process can be incorporated from the first days of the reactor operation. From the beginning of the experiment, N-NO3 was abundantly generated. N-ammon oxidizing efficiency ranged between 90 and 99 % and influenced particular by pH values.

Thesis Evaluation of the effectiveness of online advertising analyzes the possibilities of advertising for businesses on the internet and evaluates the effectiveness of individual campaigns. The theoretical part explores selected advertising strategy systems for their use and application options on selected subjects by selected literature sources mentioned in the work. In the practical part will be created electronic commerce, which will be applied to advertising strategies discussed in the theoretical part. The results are described in detail and selected the ideal online - marketing mix that fit this online store.

A research of occurrence of leafrollers harm in fruit trees was realized in the period of years 2014 and 2015 in the Bohemian-Moravian highlands. There were installed 22 pheromones catches at different places. Five target species of leafrollers were studied: Grapholita funebrana, Grapholita molesta, Grapholita janthinana, Grapholita lobarzewskii and Pandemis heparana. Pandemis heparana was observed only in year 2015. All target species were found, besides Pandemis heparana. In pheromones traps there were found also many nontarged species of butterflies. Most of them were from family Tortricidae. Other species were from families Erebidae, Gelechiidae, Gracillariidae, Noctuidae and Zygaenidae. The part of results from 2013th were used also. Efficacy of pheromones by two competitive companies was also compared during the research. There was evaluated also flight activity of target species depending on temperature.

This thesis dealt with evaluation of particular types of filtration devices. It highlighted their advantages but mentioned their weaknesses as well. In the theoretical part of the thesis there was a description of all the filter types available on the Czech market, whilst the practical part was focused on comparison of two seleceted filters - plate filter DF 200*200 mm with drain board and cross-flow fiter Romfil RF2C. The measurement result showed that cross-flow filters were more powerful with their performance about 2 530 litres per hour. Concerning microbial stabilty both filter types showed the same efficiency. The thesis also contained comparison of both filter types operating costs. According to the model calculations it was obvious that with using cross-flow filter the filtration costs were lower - around 0,30 Kč per 1 liter of filtered wine (considering 150 working hours per year). filtration costs with using plate filter were around 0,50 Kč per 1 liter (considering the same working hours).
