The subject of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of the cleaning efficiency at the chosen sewage treatment plants and their subsequent comparison. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union in the field of WWTP and waste water treatment, it also deals with the types of waste water, its composition and the process of its cleaning, especially it is focused on the activation process. The practical part contains a description of the objects on the technological line of Mikulčice WWTP and WWTP Starý Poddvorov. Another part of the thesis evaluates the hydraulic load, the substance load and the cleaning efficiency at individual treatment plants during the monitored years 2015-2017. The individual results are graphically processed. The operational results are described in the evaluation of the results and the procuration are proposed for improving the efficiency of the cleaning, namely the addition of the technology of WWTP Starý Poddvorov for the chemical precipitation of phosphorus.

This thesis deals with the effectiveness of insecticides on Colorado potato beetle, which is one of the most serious pests that damages the above-ground part of the potato crop. Field trials were established in the years 2015-2017 at the campus of the Mendel University School in Žabčice. Insecticides from the group of neonicotinoids (Actara 25 WG, Biscaya 240 OD, Mospilan 20 SP and Monceren G) were used here. Insecticides from the group of pyrethroids (Vaztak Active, Nurelle D, Karate se Zeon 5 SC) and diamides (Coragen 20 SC) were used. Last but not least, two insecticides (NeemAzal T / S, SpinTor) have been applied that are useful in organic farming. In 2015 and 2017, the presence of Colorado potato beetle was evaluated before and after application of individual insecticides. Based on the occurrence of potato beetle larvae, efficiency was calculated. In addition, the difference between insecticides and insecticides and control was statistically evaluated. The year 2016 was not evaluated because of the low number of potato beetles.

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the efficiency of wastewater treatment at a selected wastewater treatment plant in Hodějice. It is used for the treatment of mostly sewage water from five municipalities. The aim was to obtain data on the water quality at the inflow and outflow from the WWTP based on its own monitoring, calculate the efficiency and to compare it with the data provided by the WWTP Hodějice in 2018. The relevant issue of pollution, wastewaters, their sewering and treatment is handled in literary review. The thesis also includes characteristics of the area of interest and selected wastewater treatment plant. The results were graphically processed and compared with the emission standards set out in government regulation no.401/2015 coll. and the water authority of Slavkov u Brna, listed in the Sewerage code of WWTP Hodějice. It was found that for the monitored indicators the efficiency of treatment is sufficient.

Diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of the sludge management of the municipal sewage treatment plant. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the formation of sewage sludge at WWTPs, composition, properties and possibilities of their treatment, their utilization or subsequent liquidation as well as legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union. The practical part deals with the technological description of the waste water treatment plant Tišnov Březina and with the wastewater treatment process of the WWTP. Another part of the thesis evaluates the efficiency of the cleaning process and the hydraulic load of the WWTP, describes the operational problems of the technological processes in the waste water treatment, especially the sludge management, and subsequently focuses on the design of measures, which are suitable especially for anaerobic sludge stabilization, biogas production, and last but not least a series of dewatering and drying of sewage sludge.

The diploma thesis is focused on evaluate the efficiency of wastewater treatment plants in the village Veverská Bítýška. Part of the thesis is a literary research, which defines: the basic information about water, wastewater, wastewater treatment and related legislation. Other items of work are characteristic of interest territory and characteristic of selected wastewater treatment plant. In the context of the methodology of the diploma thesis are described selected indicators of water quality and individual determinations in the field and laboratory. Results for the set of indicators of water quality are processed in tables and the graphs, which are accompanied by brief descriptions. Efficiency of wastewater treatment plants is calculated from the acquired measurement results. At the end of the diploma thesis its the overall assessment. Efficiency of wastewater treatment plants always meet the set legislative limits. Values were almost always over 90%.

The thesis is focused on the evaluation of rainfall-runoff process on three stabilized micro-watersheds with different tree species in forest stand, which cover spruce, beech and mixed forest stand, located in the uplands. River basin has been investigated under the same climatic conditions during the growing season 2015. Examined micro-watersheds is located in the FTE Křtiny. This thesis include evaluation of basic statistical parameters and assessment of extreme event for particular watersheds. The work also includes a literature review on the topic parameterization rainfall-runoff process and a description of the experimental watershed. The results indicate that the highest water management efficiency (best parameters of the runoff process)obtains a catchment area of beech stand, while the worst parametrs obtains the spruce watershed.

The thesis deals with connections between completion of reduced course and self-efficacy of obese people. The theoretical part deals with definition of obesity, its prevalence and aspects of its treatment. A chapter of the theoretical part focuses on self-efficacy and its connections to obesity and physical activity. The last part is about general self-efficacy. The empirical part describes physical activity of obese respondents, changes in their physical activity self-efficacy and their general self-efficacy after completion of reduced course. The questionnaires about the level of physical activity and physical activity self-efficacy were created by author of the thesis. General self-efficacy was measured by General self-efficacy scale. Data were obtained in the first and last lesson of reduced courses. A paired-samples t-test was conducted to compare changes in both areas of self-efficacy. It has been found that frequency of respondents physical activity was insufficient. The results suggest that connection between completion of reduced course and general self-efficacy exist. On the other hand there was not significant difference between individual's physical self-efficacy before reduced course and after its completion. The thesis deals with the topic of academic self-efficacy of pupils who have been given protective or institutional education due to significant problematic behaviour by the court and who became clients of children's homes with the school. First, the concept of self-efficacy and the concept of academic self-efficacy is presented. Resources as well as social environment issues and gender differences are related to academic self-efficacy. The following chapter describes the topic of problematic behaviour and behavioural disorders. The third chapter is devoted to protection and constitutional care. The last chapter describes the topic of academic self-efficacy of students with problematic behaviour. The empirical part includes research carried out in children's homes with students showing significant problematic behaviour, using the Myself As a Learner Scale and Children's Self- Efficacy Scale questionnaires. A significant difference was found between the level of academic self-efficacy between a set of pupils from children's homes with a school and a set of pupils from ordinary upper primary schools. Diploma thesis mainly describes the theoretical knowledge of the topic photoimpedance spectroscopy characterization of optical and electrical properties of the photovoltaic cells, which contains development and princip of cells working, material properties of photovoltaic cells, explanation of electromagnetic waves, spectrophotometry and impedance spectroscopy, followed by a discription of the measuring device and used measuring methods. The experimental section for each measurement method describes the steps of setting the program, then the tables with measured values are involeved in some parts and a part of each method are summary graphs of measured values with subsequent evaluation.

This master’s thesis studies additional losses generated in the induction motor powered from inverter. The first chapter was used for literature search and it mentions valuable publications. The second chapter discusses the different types of losses in the induction motor. The third chapter describes other negative effects on motor caused by inverter, the fourth one defines possible measuring methods, which would lead to the quantification of additional losses. The fifth chapter introduces the electromotor tested as well as the measuring instruments used. The last chapter presents pivotal results of the measurement in the testing room.
