Využití času manažerů ve státní správě / Usage of manager´s time in public administration

LETOVSKÁ, Pavla January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to assess the use of manager´s time and to suggest changes that would lead to make their work more efficient. It focuses on managers working in the public sphere. Following offices were chosen to take part in the research: Revenue Authority for South Bohemian Region - Territorial Departement in České Budějovice and Regional Authority of South Bohemian Region. The main topic of this work is time management which is extremely important nowadays. Twenty managers were asked to take part in the research, ten from each office. Questionnaire survey was the basic tool used to collect information about their time management. They were also interviewed afterwards to specify some information from the questionnaires more deeply. It was discovered that most of the respondents have no experience with the time management in general. The lack of such experience brings many problems of course and the managers fight with the difficulties of time planning very often. On the basis of those facts, some changes were proposed, that could lead to more efficient work.

Vlastnosti systému reálného času v LabVIEW / Features real-time operating system for LabVIEW

Válek, Petr January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with certain properties of real time operating systems (RTOS) Ardence PharLap ETS, WindRiver VxWorks and LabVIEW RT module. Three methodologies of RTOS quality comparison are proposed, two of which are practically tested with described experiments on CompactRIO hardware from NI. Furthermore, there is explained need for RTOS usage and experimental comparison of jitter error influence on total harmonic distortion THD defined by two definitions.

Souvislost mezi využitím času jednotlivci a letním časem - důsledky pro evropskou reformu týkající se změny časového režimu / Relationship between Daylight Saving Time and individuals' time use preferences - implications for the European reform of time switching regime

Dančej, Ján January 2021 (has links)
Currently, there is a legislative procedure in the EU to abolish switching of time regimes. Under this procedure, member countries should choose to observe either permanent Standard Time (ST) or permanent Daylight Saving Time (DST). We study whether the time regime has an effect on how people spend their time. The data we are using are daily time use panel data of US citizens from the American Time Use Survey from 2003 to 2019. To study time use of daily activities, we combine the short-run before-after effect of time regime switch with the long-run comparison of time regimes in Difference-in-Differences. We layout basic implications for EU member states, regarding individuals' time use preferences, and the time regime reform.

Čas a jeho reflexe v právu / Time and its reflection in law

Kučerová, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
Time and its reflection in law Aim of this Master's degree thesis is to explain time as a quantity which influence human's life more than any other and that is one of the most relevant legal events which cause certain consequences in law. The aim of this work is to capture time as a quantity that influences human life more than any other, and that is one of the most legally relevant facts with which the law attaches certain legal consequences. The thesis is divided into nine chapters; the first four are devoted to philosophical and historical introduction to the concept of "time", while the remaining five are focused on the influence of time in the context of the current Civil Code. The first chapter follows the perception of time from the beginning of mankind, deriving primarily from the work of a major Romanian historian and philosopher of the last century - Mircea Eliade. The second chapter is dedicated to time as divisible quantity and describes the different ways to divide time through the day on a longer term units - years. The third chapter discusses the concept of time in ancient Rome from the perspective of the great scholars of his time - Isidore of Seville and Ambrosia Theodosius Macrobius. It describes not only the Roman division of time, but also the development of the Roman calendar...

Škola jako rytmizátor každodenního života v zázemí Plzně / School as everyday life pace-maker within the hinterland of Pilsen

Bicanová, Stanislava January 2014 (has links)
The main objective of this thesis is to analyze places and everyday paths of specific actors, that are generated through their repetitive routine activities. These activities are influenced by certain higher order rules - so-called pacemakers, which are dealt with in the thesis. Part of the thesis not only presents some space-time concepts, but also applies them in practice. The work proceeds from a basic concept of a place being structured through life actors themselves who create such place. These concept pacemakers play an important role, controlling the course of everyday life of the localized place, as well as the course of an ordinary day in the life of the actor. The institution of primary school becomes the main pacemaker and represents a linking element of all parts. In connection with the ongoing process of suburbanization and the reality of changing lifestyle and demographic composition in the neighborhood of cities, one may observe here certain indication of current changing supralocal influence of primary school pacemakers in Pilsen and its suburbs. The paper also focuses on the analysis of a particular place, the municipality where the individual pacemakers manifest and create the polyrythmicity of place through localized rhythms. Moreover, it also places focus on pacemakers operating...

K problematice času / To the problem of time

Zlatoš, Michal January 2016 (has links)
The thesis "To the problem of time" considers concepts of understanding of the problem of time and temporality on selected authors throughout history. It was revealed in the work that even Aristotle had some notion of temporality, and not only his time counted within movement. However this notion is fragmental thus it required a more complex explanation of his viewpoints. Augustine's switch of perspective brought deeper understanding of human temporality within the connection of the soul to the transcendental God. Further development of this idea made Husserl's analysis of time-consciousness and after him Heidegger, who developed Husserl's concept and founded his own concept on the authenticity based on the consciousness of individual being's irreversible finiteness. Similarly, the concepts of Bergson and Sartre developed the idea of time consciousness, though they differed on some stresses, e.g. the importance of the future. Peirce's position, brought into discussion, showed some similar features despite the different origins to the concept of Husserl's. The cross-section of science and philosophy exposed in Whitehead's concept pointed out the introduction of an observer into the scientific understanding of time and thus denial of the "absolute time" on behalf of dynamicity of the continual...

Nasazení SOFA-HI aplikací na platformě nxtOSEK / Deployment of SOFA-HI applications on the nxtOSEK platform

Kaščák, Kamil January 2013 (has links)
SOFA-HI is an extension of the SOFA 2 component system, which is developed at Department of distributed and dependable systems. SOFA-HI focuses on support for development of real-time embedded applications using component-based approach. This thesis extends existing SOFA-HI implementation with support for development and deployment of SOFA-HI application to nxtOSEK platform which is a small-footprint real-time operating system and board support package for LEGO Mindstorms NXT. In particular, existing tools for application development and deployment are extended to support nxtOSEK platform. The thesis further provides pre-made components to allow communication with standard NXT sensors and actuators. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Využití času v závislosti na přítomnosti dítěte v domácnosti v generacích 40. až 70. let 20. století ve Spojených státech amerických / Time use dependent on presence of children in household for generation 40s to 70s of the 20th century in the United States of America

Slabá, Jitka January 2016 (has links)
Time use dependent on presence of children in household for generation 40s to 70s of the 20th century in the United States of America Abstract: The fertility of women has declined under reproduction level 2.1 children per women in economic developed countries during the last few decades. At the same time the employment of women has risen and time use has changed. Main aim of this thesis is to understand how generations born in 1940-1979 living in the USA changed the spending of their time. The AHTUS data set is analysed by comparing averages of times spent by total work, paid work, unpaid work and child care. The time spent by total work declined between generations born at 40s and 70s. Average time spent by paid work declined too. The men's average time spent by unpaid work increased and women's average time decreased. In spite of fertility decrease between 40s and 70s generations, the women's and men's time spent by childcare extremely increased. The men's time spent by child care increased five times, while women's time spent by child care increased more than three times. The rise of time spent by child care is realized by increasing in primary and secondary activities. Primary activities contain time spent by childcare, secondary activities include all activities where childcare was declared e as a...
