The thesis deals with the perception of different leisure time opportunities for younger school children in the city and in the village. The theoretical part describes leisure time,its functions, various definitions and different concepts of free time. Specifies younger school age and leisure time for children and youth. She also devotes herself to school and extracurricular leisure facilities.The practical part contains a survey using questionnaires that were distributed to the children of the junior school in the town and the village. The questionnaires concerned how children spend their free time, but above all how they perceive their leisure time. The conclusion of the practical part includes the evaluation of the questionnaire survey and evaluation of the research assumptions.

children's lifestyle řešen problém pedagogiky volného času především z hovného. Záměrem této studie je zkoumat vlivy volnočasových aktivit na dítě. Její hlavní otázka směřuje k volnočasovým aktivitám dětí a budoucí životní styl, přístup dalšímu vzdělávání či výběru profesní dráhy. Klade si oblastech působí pravidelná sportovní činnost na rozdělena na část teoretickou a teoretické části se autorka věnuje popisu středisek volného času z různých pohledů, dále oblasti pedagogiky volného času, různým činnostem, mapuje oblast životního stylu dětí a sportovní aktivity. Součástí teorie jsou také profesní orientaci. Empirická část obsahuje kvalitativní výzkum. Výzkumné šetření bylo provedeno pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a dotazníků, výsledky byly následně analyzovány. Empirická část zjišťuje, v jakých oblastech působí pravidelná sportovní činnost na životě dětí, které byly sportovními aktivitami nejvíce ovlivněny.

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of school manager's self-management in the art schools area. Thesis aim was to ascertain what the art schools' headmasters in Pilsen and South Bohemia region reckon as part of self management, what influences their self management and how is this influence displayed in their professional and personal lives. Partial aim of this work was to find out if the headmasters educate themselves in the self management area and if yes in what way. In the theoretical part the work comes out of the human resource management and working performance area. It deals with the headmasters' competences and roles, self management, time management, delegation, burnout syndrome, stress techniques and life balance. It elaborately deals with the emotional intelligence and headmaster's career stages in connection with the self management area is influenced by them. The practise brings research results, which was realized by research and additional interviews. The research found out very interesting discoveries from the pedagogical-art schooling, from the working and personal lives of crucial persons in this educational sphere - art schools headmasters. This thesis analyses the implementation of the Linux cgroups subsystems responsible for limiting CPU time and disk I/O throughput. Apart from the Linux cgroups approach, an overview and short analysis of other possible approaches to the problem of limiting CPU time and disk I/O throughput is presented. Based on the analysis, the thesis proposes an extension to the resource limit- ing and accounting framework racct/rctl in the FreeBSD kernel. Our prototype implementation of this extension provides features that enable the administrators and privileged users to define disk I/O throughput limits and relative CPU time limits for a particular process, user or FreeBSD jail.

The study of everyday life has become a new challenge in contemporary society. Over the last few decades there have been significant changes of temporal and spatial relationships, which now come in many different forms, some of which are relatively new phenomena (e.g. virtual relationships). The society differentiates also socially and culturally. People with different attitudes and values, habits and behaviours, people of different lifestyles meet at one place and encounter everyday lives of others. These facts demonstrate the importance of everyday life research. Everyday life is routine and self-evident for a man or group of people in a given space and time but otherwise it is variable and differentiated phenomenon. New issues arise in the context of contemporary changes that encourage the questioning the definitions of everyday life and also finding new methods of research. The thesis searches for the position of geography in the research of everyday life and thus contributes to the formation of a subdiscipline of geography that is not yet fully developed. The aim of this dissertation is to describe current state of evaluation of leisure time centres' directors, approaching the topic from the point of view of a superior institution that adjusts reward amounts. Firstly, the paper classifies leisure time centres in the Czech education system. Then, it goes on to describe current state of these centres in the Czech Republic, including funding, youth workers and laws that influence activities of particular directors and superior institutions. After that, the work focuses on the topic of directors' evaluation from various aspects. It describes evaluation methods that can be used in the process, including the procedure of adjusting reward amounts. Then, the work analyses particular kriteria that are published in certain cases by superior institutions at their web pages. It describes the most common evaluation criteria and procedures, seen both from the position of leisure time centres' directors and from their superior institutions. At the end, there are recommendations for superior institutions that can be used in the process of adjusting reward amounts for leisure time centres' directors.

This Master's thesis focuses on the spatial mobility of secondary school students and the way they spend their leisure time. Rychnov nad Kněžnou town and its surrounding is chosen for the empirical study. The topic of the thesis connects several disciplines especially geography, sociology and psychology in the theoretical part. Special attention is given to the Time Geography and the explanation of the concept of leisure time in the teen-agers's life. The research on the students from different types of secondary schools in Rychnov nad Kněžnou is the main part of the thesis where the method of questionnaire and diary is used. The objective of the survey is to explore daily activities of teen-agers in the time and space. Questions are focused especially on the way the respondents spend their leisure time. Stated activities are compared with the supply of leisure services in the region. The attention in the survey is also paid to the missing leisure services.
