Historie Nymburského gymnázia v kontextu vývoje středního školství / History of The Grammar School in Nymburk in the context of the secondary education development.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to capture the history of secondary education and, at the same time, to link this historical development to a particular secondary school - Bohumil Hrabal Gymnasium in Nymburk. The introductory part describes the beginnings of the formation of grammar schools in our state territory. It focuses on education reforms during the Enlightenment. The second part describes the events of the 20th century. It also includes the establishment of a secondary school in Nymburk, periods of the First and Second World Wars, Prague Spring 1968, normalization period and events after 1989. The final part focuses on contemporary life in school, celebrating the establishment of the school, an overview of famous graduates and circumstances of changing the name of the school. The work also contains the testimony of witnesses - graduates and teachers.

Úloha ředitele školy v procesu managementu změny školy / The role headmaster in the change management process of the school

This final thesis deals with role of the headmaster in process of change and is divided into theoretical and research part. Theoretical part is about problematics of change management. It defines causes of change, its phases, process and how is the change managed and all connecting issues. Other chapters focus on change management in education, especially from headmaster's point of view. Conclusion of the theoretical part focuses on inclusive education change implementation. Goal of the research part is to find out, what kind of roles did headmaster's in Ústecký region held within the process of change due to inclusive education implementation. For the research itself, quantitative method was chosen with the questioning technique. Results showed for example that most of the headmasters doesn't feel change due to inclusive education implementation as required or well prepared. Most of the headmasters also feel, that they give enough space for their employees to participate in change management and they are willing to discuss their opinions on this change with them. Results also showed, that headmasters mostly took the manager's, executive's or all three roles at the same time (leader, manager and executive) during the change process. OF THE THESIS Author: Bc. Anna Hrudková The diploma thesis deals with the topic The impact of changes in school legislation on management of pre-primary education. The theoretical part deals with the explanation and definition of concepts in the field of management, management of educational institutions (pre-primary education) and school legislation and its amendments. In the practical part, the work deals with the analysis of the collected data from the questionnaire, data were collected from the directors of nursery schools in the Central Bohemia organized by the municipalities. There is a correlation between changes in educational legislation and changes in the workload of nursery school directors and the functioning of these schools. The aim of my final thesis is to find out whether the current changes in school legislation (focusing on pre- primary education) have a significant impact on the management of kindergartens, how and in what areas the impact of these novelties was influenced. The conclusion of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of the collected data and the proposal of the institution dealing with the legislation of education. This diploma thesis concerns with issues of evaluation and systemic procuring of educational activities of universities in the Czech Republic. It defines status of universities in the framework of educational system, their classification according to the type of providing curriculum and submission of actual overview regarding to the universities which operate in the Czech Republic in the present day. It provides view to the world rankings, their history and position of Czech universities in them. Further, it clarifies the term of evaluation in education and the difference between inner and outer evaluation. At the same time, it introduces the activity of the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education and its distinction from antecedent Committee of Accreditation. The empirical research of this diploma thesis is concentrated on revealing the advantages and disadvantages of the setting in the actual system of the quality of educational activities in the Czech universities. Everything mentioned is possible thanks to using the content analysis of inner documents from selected universities dealing with the problems of evaluation and setting the inner systems ensuring the quality of educational activities. Úroveň pohybových schopností u žáků na ve vztahu k oborové specializaci učitele na 1.stupni základní školy / Level of physical abilities in pupils in relation to the specialization of the teacher at the 1st level of elementary school

The diploma thesis identifies the level of physical abilities of pupils of the first grade of elementary school in relation to the specialization of the teacher of physical education. To test the level of mobility, I chose the proven Unifittest test battery (6-60). I chose the pupils and teachers from four different primary schools in Prague and the surrounding area participated in the testing. By testing, I find and compare the physical abilities of pupils under the guidance of teachers with different specializations. I try to found out whether pupils' results are reflected by the fact that PE lessons are not led by teachers specialization in physical education. I also compare the content of physical education classes in their broader focus. To find this part of the research, I used the questionnaire method. I process and validate my hypotheses with Unifittest (6-60) and my questionnaire. The results of my work show that the level of physical abilities of pupils at primary school level is higher for pupils led by a teacher with PE specialization. Using questionnaires, I have verified that also the qualitative level of PE lessons and the interest of pupils in sports and physical activity are demonstrably higher for pupils led by a physical education expert.

Good marketing communications is a tool for universities to create a competitive advantage in the market and thus contributes to strengthening the financial situation of colleges and universities, regardless of its legal form. The thesis contains an analysis of the university market in the Czech Republic regarding the marketing point of view and type of financing particular universities. The thesis analyses the perception research of marketing communication performed by universities to appeal to their largest demographics high school students.

There search is based on data obtained through two of qualitative research methods: Participatory observation Analysis of documents - artifacts The thesis conclusion is based on triangulation, the penetration of various research methods, and contains, among others, recommendations for the Ministry of Education, Department of Regional Education Offices, regional councilors, and management of schools that prepare optimization projects. Particular attention is given to the impact of the optimization on the College and Secondary School in Varnsdorf.

Využití kompetencí divadelního dramaturga v praxi učitele na Waldorfském lyceu / Using the qualification of a literary manager in the teaching practice at the secondary school Waldorfské lyceum

This diploma thesis deals with the ways of using the qualifications of a literary manager in the field of pedagogy and didactics, specifically while teaching at a secondary school called Waldorfské lyceum. In the first part the author deals with the characteristics of the two careers – as a literary manager and as a teacher, and defines the set of qualities that are necessary for these professions. Later he compares these two professions and seeks intersections and parallels between them and the parts they take in a theater environment and in a school environment respectively. In the next part he introduces the Waldorf education and its specifics with regards to the performing arts incorporated into the lessons, and analyses the drama poetics of Rudolf Steiner including his approach towards the manner of speech and the art of eurythmy. In the crucial third part of this thesis the author is describing his experiences as a teacher at the secondary school Waldorfské lyceum and looks into individual areas of his activities – projects of literary, performing, artistic and cultural character, particularly in relation to utilizing the qualitifations of a literary manager, obtained during the studies of Dramaturgy for Dramatic Theater on The Theater Academy of Performing Arts.
