This thesis deals with biodegradable waste on a regional scale. The intention is to suggest the proper system configuration and proposal of options, which would be in the region possible. The work consists of two interconnected parts, theoretical knowledge and actual work, which is a thorough analysis of the current state of waste management in the region Třebíč. The next step is processing, evaluation and use of questionnaires for further research in the region. Simulation of economic and environmental sustainability solves the biodegradable waste processing by prevention of waste sources or by implementation of collection and sorting of waste according to the region characteristics as building density, population, further to current waste processing facilities and municipality waste management itself. The solution is demonstrated on municipality Březník, it's data and calculations as a pilot project. In conclusion, I would like to present the overall assessment and comparison of alternatives. The aim is to show that it is possible to start an effective system biodegradable waste processing and that it is possible to apply this model to other regions.

There were conducted simultaneously two experiments of disintegration selected samples of biodegradable plastics. The tests of disintegration in the laboratory and in real conditions of composting were founded in March 2014 for a period of three months. There was founded a phytotoxicity test after the expiry of the time allotted in the laboratory. In a real conditions the study time was increased to 12 months. Tichá, Hana January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis examines the influence of air temperature on the behavior of fallow deer in farm kept. The literature review presents fallow deer characterization; it gives an overview of fallow deer management methods and describes the current situation in farming in the Czech Republic. The research part deals with observations of behavioral patterns of fallow deer. Every month in the course of a calendar year, a selected group of farmed fallow deer was observed all day, with special regard to their behavioral patterns concerning grazing, feed intake, standing or lying. Air temperature was measured every time. My research has shown a significant effect of air temperature on the behavior of fallow deer. Grazing was most prevalent in May (52 %), feed intake in January (39 %), lying in December (43 %) and standing in November (31 %). Moreover, spatial preferences of mineral deer-licks were examined in relation to feeding habits. The study has demonstrated that the location of a deer-lick has a considerable impact on its use. Fallow deer prefer significantly (75 %) a deer-lick close to a watering place rather than the deer-lick close to the border of the area. The results of the research were analysed in graphs and statistically evaluated by reference to Pearson's chi-squared test.
