The aim of this thesis is to compare subjective life satisfaction of children at 5th and 9th grades of primary schools in Hradec Králové. The thesis focuses mainly on the way of spending their leisure time, satisfaction with the social contacts and family background, interacting in school, psychosomatic problems and addictive risks. The work compares the responses of individual years and gender of respondents. The thesis finds no significcant diferences between 5th and 9th grade. This thesis aims to introduce the Czech Environmental Inspectorate as a specialized body of the state administration with a state-wide authority which is subordinated to the Ministry of the Environment. The objective of the Inspectorate is particularly to exercise state supervision connected with enforcement of corrective actions and sanctions. The Czech Environmental Inspection was established in 1991 with its original competence in a field of forest protection, as of today it has competences with respect to all environmental components. The merit of this thesis is an analysis of statutory regulations regarding the protection of the environment according to which the Inspectorate exercises its competences and authority. The result of this analysis is definition of the competences of the Inspectorate in individual fields of environment protection. In the thesis I also focus on problematic provisions of particular legal regulations and in final chapter I address also a possibility of reorganisation of the Inspectorate in the future.

Legal regime of transboundary shipments of waste The aim of my thesis titled "Legal regime of transboundary shipments of waste" is to deliver a comprehensive analysis of legal aspects of cross-border shipments of waste. The thesis aspires to describe and interpret the various regulations and norms that govern this area, regardless of whether they are of international, European or national origin; it also evaluates whether the legislation provides sufficient tools for protection of the environment and whether the cross-border shipments of waste are desirable from the perspective of environmental protection. The thesis consists of eleven chapters. The first three chapters provide a theoretical introduction to the topic - chapter one contains the basic objectives and definition of the legal regulation of cross-border shipments of waste; chapter two outlines the fundamental principles of the environmental law and their applicability to the shipments of waste; and chapter three introduces the reader to the historical development of the subject matter in question. Chapters four to eight of the paper are devoted to the description and analysis of the legislation currently applicable. The risk capital has to be kept by insurance company to cover unexpected looses. In our thesis we focus on different approaches to calculation of risk capital. One part is concentrated on derivation of Solvency I regime, both for life and nonlife insurance. In addition, we characterize riders of life insurance that are avaliable on the Czech market. In next part of our thesis we set up our own model of risk capital calculation. We consider these risks: mortality, expense, lapse and interest rate risk. For numerical calculations we chose accidental death rider, so we included its risk also into our model.

In this paper I will be mapping an inner world of thought and experience lived by individuals suffering from depression. Based on differently experienced narratives I will try to reveal common features, which could help with better understanding "depressive mode of life experience". Research took place in Prague Psychiatric Centre. It consisted of narrative analysis of four 90 minute long autobiogaphic interviews. Four respondents were of both sexes and 17 - 59 years old. In these interviews was emphasized formation of structure in their life narrative. The result of this analysis was formlation of theory of Depressive mode of organizing the experience. This theory is expanded with mode of escape mechanism describing tightening of depletion of external purpose loop and causal mechanism of reluctance to pursue introspection, which leads to deficit of authorship and need for understanding and acting other, who would compensate described deficit. These models have been compared with other theories and research of C. G. Jung and Erich Fromm. Ideas of both authors complete each other and expand findings of this research.

My diploma thesis is focused on a qualitative research on relationship between personal and work life and the life strategies of successful women with children. The objective of this paper is to find out what is the actual life stage and the ideal stage of the women's life they strive to achieve. There will be a particular focus taken on a context of their professional career and the space that has been created between their family and personal live. Therefore, it will be about their identity strategies and how do they practice it in combination of both of their life spheres. The research is conducted by narrative- biographical interviews that are completed by a Life axis method that works well as a guide for managing the interviews, the topics of the main interest of women in particular. Title: Skateboarding - sport or lifestyle Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to examine connections, relationships and results, why are skateboarders prefering this activity and to describe them objectively within the majority culture to understand their thoughts. We will try to describe, what are the main differences between them and the rest of the society and how it is important to their own identity. Methods: We gained needed quantity of information from 6 skateboarders, with the aid of qualitative method - semi-structured interview. The data picking was taking place from April to July 2015. From the gained information we analysed behaviour patterns, motives, motivation and thought of the skateboarders. Results: Skateboarders never think about definitions, have no interest in somehow categorizing skateboarding. Some skateboarders immediately identify with the fact that skateboarding is their lifestyle, some of them gradually realize that skateboarding lifestyle can be for their way of life considered, others argue that they would skateboarding lifestyle imagine more intensive than how they do it. Nevertheless they admit, that their life can probably be closer to something that could be called the lifestyle of skateboarders. So that a man could confess lifestyle, activity must be operated...

The purpose of this Thesis is to show ways of the selfmanagement and to include them into daily life. Using several publications I suggest possibilities of personal progress and its benefit for our life. I research the awareness about the selfmanagement and its principles. I lead the respondents to deeper thinking about their life attitude and self-respect. It is focused on purpose of living, life goals and principles, time management, self-control, a creativity and alternative ways to personal progress. I would like to explain connections between personal and working life. Well-balanced and creative person, who is cultivating himself, has better potencial for satisfied working life. The process of writing Master's Thesis was enriching and I hope it was also an inspiration for the respondents. I find it very important to focuse not only on outside world, but first of all on inside world. I wish the selfmanagement would come closer to more people and help them to build a happy life.

The aim of the Thesis is to give an overview of selected companies from various industries that have an ecological approach and utilize green marketing together with a following overall evaluation forecast of likely development of the subject, mainly in the Czech Republic environment in comparison with the world.
