The aim of this study is to determine the translator's strategies when creating a pragmaticallyadequate translation. The subject of the study was the analysis of the translation of colloquialand profane language in the novel of the Swedish writer Jens Lapidus ("Snabba cash") inRussian. A comparative study of the source text and the translated text was the main methodof investigation. The analyzed material is a continuous sample of colloquial expressions andprofanities from the first fifth of the translated version of the novel. Colloquial expressions areused in the speech of the characters of the novel to convey their social belonging, as well astheir emotional and psychological state, which in turn gives the original text a certainemotional coloration. The most acute problems a translator faces arise in translation ofpragmatically colored linguistic units, including those that lack an equivalent in the targetlanguage. The translator managed to keep the spirit of the modern criminal novel in a newcultural environment. The results indicate that the translator's basic strategies weretranslational transformations, compensations, in translation of idiomatic expressions, as wellas the preservation of the high expressiveness in the translation through active use of criminalargot, exclamations and Russian vernacular. The study adds information to the field oftranslation theory and comparative linguistics, and may also be of interest to practicingtranslators of fiction. / Целью данного исследования является определение стратегий переводчика присоздании прагматически адекватного перевода. Предметом исследования стал анализперевода стилистически сниженной разговорной лексики в романе шведского писателяЙенса Лапидуса («Snabba cash») на русский язык. Сопоставительное изучениеисходного текста и текста перевода явились основным методом исследования.Материал для анализа представляет из себя сплошную выборку языковых единиц сосниженной лексикой из пятой части романа от начала в тексте перевода. Сниженныйстиль разговорной речи используется в речи героев романа для передачи их социальнойпринадлежности, а также для передачи их эмоционально-психологического состояния,что в свою очередь придает оригинальному тексту особую эмоциональную окраску.Наиболее острые проблемы в работе переводчика возникают при переводепрагматически окрашенных языковых единиц, в том числе безэквивалентных.Переводчику удалось сохранить дух современного криминального романа в новойкультурной среде. Результаты исследования показывают, что основными стратегиямипереводчика стали переводческие трансформации, компенсации, в работе с переводомидиоматических выражений, а также сохранение высокой экспрессивности в переводе,основанной на активном использовании криминальных арготизмов, эмотивнойпунктуации и русского просторечия. Исследование вносит дополнительуюинформацию в область теории перевода и сопоставительной лингвистики, а такжеможет представлять интерес для практикующих переводчиков художественнойлитературы.

Эта магистерская диссертация посвящена исследованию и сопоставлению переводческих трансформаций в рамках теорий Ж.-П. Вине и Ж. Дарбельне и Л. С. Бархударова с целью выявления особенностей каждой из них на фоне друг друга. Материалом сопоставительного анализа послужили монологи доктора Уотсона в первой главе рассказа А. К. Дойла «Скандал в Богемии». / This master’s thesis studies and compares translation transformations within the theories of J.-P. Vinay, J. Darbelnet and L. S. Barkhudarov in order to find out some of the peculiarities of said theories compared to one another. The analysis is based on comparing the translation of Dr. Watson’s monologues in the first chapter of the short story «A Scandal in Bohemia» by A. C. Doyle with the English source text.
