本文共一冊，預計約四萬字。計分五章，每章二至四節不等。 研究內容主要由報紙報導的觀點來看某一社會事件－－環境問題。報紙是一般人日常 生活重要的消息來源，也負有媒介建構社會現實的任務。近年來國內環境問題日益嚴 重，本研究想從報紙的角色觀察這個問題被報導的情形，進一步瞭解環境問題的演變 與發展。本研究撰擇中央日報、聯合報、中國時報與自立晚報四家報紙，以內容分析 的方式，作一九六Ｏ到一九八二間的描述與探，並比較這四份立場不同的報紙在報導 這一問題上的差異情形。
