本論文係對本國與外商電工器材業會計資訊運用與經果，作一理論、實證性的探討。 首先說明內部管理者之行為係由規劃、組織、執行、考核等組成的循環程序，而貫穿 其間的中心工作即為決策。了解決策的意義、程序及其種類後，討論會計在決策中所 扮演的角色。 管理會計的主要目的是提供資訊幫助管理者做決策，因此會計資訊與整個管理活動密 切相關。如何提高會計資訊的品質，以發揮其管理功能，是管理會計人員極力追求的 。 最後就實證結果作分析，以明瞭本國與外商電工器材業目前使用管理會計技術的現況 ，及將運用程度與經營結果作比較分析，以提出結論與建議。 全篇論文共分五章，約五、六萬字。
