Russianness in Aleksei Remizov's early writingsMot, Magdalena. January 2006 (has links)
This thesis examines three different collections from the early works of the Russian writer Aleksei Remizov (1887-1957): Posolon' (1907), Leimonarion (1907), and Besnovatye: Savva Grudtsyn and Solomoniia (1951). Each of them highlights a different approach taken by Remizov in preserving Russianness. In this analysis the concept of Russianness does not constitute a specific national or historical scheme. The reference is rather to a spiritual legacy, a condition of soul. Posolon' calls for the regaining of a lost cyclicity and looks back in time at the common folk's way of life. Leimonarion is one of the most expressive examples of the constant duality of Remizov's position on the dominant artistic and ideological ideas of the time; this collection looks at the old world through the new eyes of a modern era. "Savva Grudtsyn" and "Solomoniia" present a perpetual moral struggle, which pits the profanity of a secular world against the sacred values to which people ought to aspire. / The results of the study show that Remizov, using different themes and different literary genres, pursues one broad concern: Russianness. This theme permeates not only his literary language, but also the content of the works discussed here. In Leimonarion Russia is kept together by her people and their belief in salvation; in Posolon' Russia is all about folklore, joyful games, tales and rituals; in Besnovatye Russia is saved by the simplicity and purity of the iurodivye , the 'Holy fools.'

Photography and Poetry / Fotografie a poezieLin, Chiawen January 2013 (has links)

Pohyb ve spojení s prostorem, strukturou a zvukem materiálu v architektuře Josipa Plečnika / Movement in connection with space, structure and sound of material in architecture Josip PlečnikPalátová, Dana January 2014 (has links)
Being inspired by architecture and using non-traditional space for new dance production is nowadays an increasingly popular feature. This thesis extends the research on the functionality and operation of space on building the choreography; it looks at this relationship especially through dance, which is based on these two concepts. In my choreographic works, I focus on this issue as could have been also proved in my previous thesis Scenography and space in choreography of Sasha Waltz from 2011.
When preparing chorographical and subsequently theoretical research for my diploma thesis, the procedures governing architects were practically applied to the movements. I observed the movement and creation process being influenced by my choreography. The work title also stresses out, except the space itself, the importance of texture, shape and sound materials in it that advance the creation of dance choreography. On this basis, I created choreographic principles which I analyze in detail also in my work.
This work is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the issue of connecting architecture and dancing, its historical development, the concept of site specific performances, to the choreographers who work with this theme and particularly dance in sacred space. The second chapter describes the creations and bibliography of architect Josip Plecnik. He constructed the church of the Sacred Heart by which I was initially inspired for my choreography. This architectonical treasure is in more details described in the third chapter. The last chapter as the final shape is represented by the choreography Materia which was created on the basis of the findings from previous chapters that means of the spaces of Plečnik's church. An integral part of this thesis is a DVD attached, showing the performance Materia, and embedded images which shall serve for better orientation and visual imagination to the topic.
The aim of this work is multiple: to point out the relationship between architecture and dance; to address the problems existing in contemporary dance due to its transfer into certain areas and propose possible solutions for avoiding that problem or using this issue for chorographical inspiration.
In this work, I use a compilation method based on an analysis of the basic sources and documents and I add my own texts and knowledge gained during the process of creating this production. This piece can also serve as a source for further research in the field of choreography.

The present study proposes the notion of human emancipation as an axis around which the ideas that constitute the fabric of the plural work of Wilhelm Reich are developed, permeating both the exercise of his clinical therapeutic work as well as his theoretical production. Based on the author's works and their unfolding in contemporary psychological practice, my goal is to understand “if” and “how” Reichian clinical practice, through therapeutic work and relationship can engender more emancipated modi vivendi. In this sense, the body and bodywork appear as privileged instances of the development of emancipating subjectivation processes and practices. Through empirical research, I basically intend to observe if in Reichian and neo-Reichian clinical practice, in view of the analytical material of corporal psychotherapy itself, there are questions concerning the broad issue of human emancipation, constantly present in Reich's reflections though terminologically not in the same manner
