Kinematická analýza chůze u pacientů s koxartrózou / Kinematic analysis of gait in patients with hip osteoarthrosis

Říhová, Barbora January 2015 (has links)
Author: Barbora Říhová Title: Kinematic Analysis of Gait in Patients with Hip Osteoarthrosis Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to analyse the gait patterns in probands with Stage III osteoarthritis of the hip joint, to compare these patterns with published norms and to confirm a set of pre-established hypotheses. Method: The thesis was designed as a case study, the purpose of which was to observe changes in the pelvis and trunk extension during gait, associated with significant degenerative changes in the hip joint. A total of 9 probands with Stage III osteoarthritis of the hip joint (6 females, 3 males) took part in the study. A complete physiotherapy assessment was carried out as part of the study. The temporal gait parameters were used to measure the probands' walking speed and relative stance phase duration. The following variables were measured in the frontal plane: lateral displacement of the pelvis and trunk toward the stance limb (cm) and pelvic obliquity toward the swing limb (degrees). A 3D motion analysis and evaluation of kinematic parameters were carried out using the Qualisys motion capture system device consisting of 6 infrared cameras. Gait was measured at different walking speeds during a 10-second time frame and the data was subsequently subtracted from a minimum of 5 gait...

Souvislosti výsledků Véle-testu a přístrojového vyšetření posturální stability / The relationship between Véle-test results and results of instrumented evaluation of postural stability

Dvořáčková, Terezie January 2018 (has links)
Title: The relationship between Véle-test results and results of instrumented evaluation of postural stability Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between a clinical tool for measuring postural stability, Véle-test and instrumented evalution of the same modality. The observed parameters are COM movement, range of motion in hip joints and in the functional complex of ankle and foot. An additional pedobarographic measurement was performed to define the relationship between Véle-test results and foot loading assymetry. The characteristics of this study suggest that our objective is also to find an approppriate aproach to further objectivization and stardardization of the Véle-test. In the first part of this thesis, I define the theoretical background for the experiment. Also, the current insight of physical therapy and biomechanics on the functional complex of the ankle and foot is described. Methods: The subjects (n=15, mean age 24y) were divided into two groups (S1, n1=7; S2, n2=8) according to the results of Véle test. Further, they underwent instrumented testing by pliance-x® sensing system, a 60s pedobarographic measurement was held in quiet standing. After, the Xsens MVN Link suit for 3D kinematic analysis was applied and the subjects were measured in two different...

Analýza pohybu hráčů ve volejbalovém utkání / Analysis of voleyball players' movement during the match

Hank, Mikuláš January 2015 (has links)
The primary task of this thesis was to evaluate, quantify and objectify distances of movement of elite volleyball players in terms of individual game specializations in the horizontal plane of motion. Secondarily, these values were mutually compared. For evaluation was used 3D kinematic motion analysis. Analyzed homogeneous group consisted of senior volleyball players at the Champions League level (n = 14; age = 25 ± 6 years; height = 182.3 ± 6.2 cm; weight = 72.1 ± 5.8 kg). Processing were four sets, a total of 167 rallies. The average distance one player absolved for 167 rally was 1259.89 meters in whole game, per rally, this value was 8.8 m. The movement of players was divided by a total of four directions relative to the volleyball net forward, backward, left and right. The results showed a high degree of homogeneity in the external load players and brought objective values for comparison between the players' specializations. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Provedení golfového švihu u pacientů s amputací dolní končetiny / Golf swing in subjects with amputation of lower extremity

Richtrová, Michaela January 2014 (has links)
Author: Bc. Michaela Richtrová Tittle: Golf swing in subjects with amputation of lower extremity Objectives: The study aims at evaluation of the technique of golf swing used by patients with a different type and level of lower extremity amputation as compared to able-bodied golfers. Another objective is determination of the relation between individual phases of the golf swing and weight transfer, using different golf clubs, as compared to able-bodied golfers. Method: By its topic the work is a pilot study. The research has been divided into three descriptive case studies. The experimental group included two amateur golfers and one professional golfer. The control group was represented by an able-bodied golfer. Evaluation of kinematic parameters (trajectory of shoulders, hips, knee joints) was based on the Qualysis Motion Capture System. Evaluation of dynamic parameters (weight transfer) in the course of golf swing was made using two dynamometric Kistler platforms. Results: The measuring has demonstrated that in terms of both kinematics and dynamics, the mode of movement of a patient with a trans-tibial amputation during a golf swing corresponds to that of an able-bodied golfer. The same results were achieved by the patient also with the use of another type of golf club. A change, both in terms of...

Vliv nošení vysokých podpatků na postavení pánve / The effect of wearing high heel shoes on pelvis motion.

Bočková, Barbora January 2015 (has links)
Title The effect of wearing high heel shoes on pelvis motion Aim of the thesis The main aim of this thesis is the verification of the influence of wearing high heel shoes on pelvis motion in the sagittal plane, while walking on high heel shoes and walking on heel less shoes. After then, we want to monitori the impact of walking in these shoes on the trajectory of pelvis motion. Methods Objectification method was 3D record of human gait (= kinematic analysis), which was performed using the Qualisys Track Manager. In our thesis we used the method of comparison. The aim of the study is the comparison of parameters measured in different types of shoes (high heeled shoes, high heeled less shoes with barefoot gait) and the influence on pelvis motion in the sagittal plane. Measurements were carried out in the gym at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at ten probands. Results Pelvis tilt to retroversion was more significant when walking on heel less shoes compared with high heel shoes and barefooted walking, also an angle of the trunk and pelvis were most significantly diminished when walking on heel less shoes compared to barefooted walking and high heel shoes. Objectively, a larger deflection of pelvis trajectory while walking on high heel shoes was not confirmed compared to walking on heel less...

Analýza lokomoce po implantaci totální náhrady kyčelního kloubu / Human locomotion after total hip replacement

Horáková, Alena January 2016 (has links)
Title: Human locomotion after total hip replacement Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to perform a gait analysis of patients after total hip replacement and to find out, how chosen temporo-spatial, kinetic and kinematic parameters change during the first half a year after the surgery. The deviations found in gait stereotypes of individual patients are further compared with results of international studies. Methods: The thesis is theoretical-empirical, with small number of patients. 3D kinematic gait analysis was performed by Qualisys system and ground reaction forces by two Kistler force plates. The following parameters are being monitored: length of step, stance phase duration, cadence, walking speed, lateral shift of the pelvis and trunk in standing phase, contralateral pelvic drop in standing phase of the leg, maximum range of motion of the hip joint in sagital plain, maximum of vertical and medio-lateral component of the ground reaction forces in the standing phase. Results: The highest side deviations between legs were found in 3 months after the surgery and remained until 6,5 months after the surgery. In this time period a lower value of the length of step, stance phase duration, maximum range of motion of the hip joint in sagital plain and also a higher lateral shift of the pelvis was...

Analýza svalové činnosti při hře na violoncello / Muscle activity analysis during the violoncello play

Kasanová, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
Title: Muscle activity analysis during the violoncello play Objectives: This thesis focuses on analysing and comparing specific back muscles of a bowing violoncellist. The findings can help understanding pathologic mechanisms and back pain caused by violoncello playing. It may be useful in choosing suitable preventive compensatory exercise as well and for future research. Eventually, the analysis could be applied in playing ergonomics and designing a proper seat. The thesis also aims on evaluating suitability of the chosen measuring method in this branch. Methods: The theoretical part reviews contemporary knowledge about musculoskeletal system disorders linked with violoncello playing. The practical part aims on evaluating data obtained from 3D kinematic analysis and surface EMG of specific back muscles of professional violoncello player during playing. Several conditions are assessed. Results: The experiment has shown that when playing a violoncello there is an asymmetric loading of the back muscles. Loading of specific muscles has is affected by way of bowing, string location and the seat. The experiment was done on a single proband, so these conclusions may not be generally valid. Keywords: violoncello playing, musicians, surface electromyography, 3d kinematic analysis, violoncellists' diseases,...

Synchronised metronome training : The effects on soccer players’ lower-limb motor dynamics and performance in a soccer-related stepping task.

McDonald, Rachel January 2015 (has links)
Good timing is important for all daily motion, even more so for athletes where the smallest movements can make the difference between a goal and miss. Despite this, there has been little research into just how timing ability is related to sport performance. Therefore the present study used a between-within groups experimental design with a sample of female elite- and semi-elite soccer players to describe the effects of a synchronised metronome training (SMT) intervention on lower-limb movement, and accuracy and speed, in a soccer-related stepping task. Participants were randomly assigned to receive SMT (n = 12) or to the control group (n = 12). The SMT group received 12 hours of Interactive Metronome (IM) training over four weeks. Pre- and post-test results showed a strong effect of SMT in improving timing and rhythmic ability. An effect of SMT on accuracy in the stepping task was seen, signifying an effect on motor planning ability. Correlational analyses showed some evident effects of IM on the kinematic parameters, as indicated by relationship between timing and rhythmicity ability with increased movement segmentation, though this did not reach significance. These results present new information and provides support for kinematic analysis to be used in future studies to address the effect of SMT.
