Motivace k uplatnění na trhu práce dlouhodobě nezaměstnaných uchazečů nad 50 let / Motivation for the joining the labor market of long-term unemployed job seekers over 50 years

Němcová, Marta January 2018 (has links)
This research aimed to investigate the relationship between motivation and long term unemployment of people who were 50 years old and older. We looked at issues that occured during the time when people were being signed in and were linked to the tools of active employment policy. This report also focused on other apescts of unemployment, for instance motivation. The goal was to find solutions that would help ÚP ČR to provide job seekers with solutions and help them get motivated again, as well as help them become desirable candidates. The data was collected in the region of South Bohemia. Therefore, this region was introduced shortly and we described some important characteristics of its inhabitants. We evaluated the active politics of unemployment and the analyses revealed what were the shortcomings of the system and what tools were not working well. We used two different questionnaires for collecting our data: 1. A questionnaire for unemployed people over 50; 2. An online survey that looked to reveal opinions of ÚP ČR's managers via focus group.

Způsoby re-prezentace 50. let 20. století v současné české literatuře / Representations of the Czech Historical Era of 1950s in Contemporary Czech Literature

Dobrý, Marek January 2011 (has links)
The thesis deals with the literary production reflecting the 1950s in Czechoslovakia in terms of books published within the years 2000 to 2010. Based on the dominant discourse's analysis, reflection of this period in print media compares the way discourse penetrates the literary speech and also the way of their contrast. The author, giving the wide cross-section of released books, tries to maintain the opinion that projection of the 1950s is happening thanks to a myth created contrary to the construction myth. For this reason the literary speech is being called the re-mythologization reflection of the 1950s. Another goal of this work is to find neuralgic points of the myth and to decode their function - whether ideological or social. During the mapping of the books concerning in 1950s the attentions is paid to the texts that try to disturb the re-mythologization dominant literary speech described in detail. In connection with a slight representation of resembling texts author attempts to discover the causes of the non-existent need to see a different point of view in history through literature. Key words: 1950s, literary speech, discourse, myth, power, ideology, function

Figure d’auteur et modernisation du discours des sujets exclus : la trajectoire des écrivains Gloria Stolk et Juan Rulfo / The Figure of the Author and Modernization of the discourse of excluded subjects : the Trajectory of Gloria Stolk and Juan Rulfo

Vivas Lacour, Carmen 01 February 2018 (has links)
This research centers its study in how the Latin-American literature in the 50’s became a place of alternative symbolic creation. The modernization project in Latin-America resulted in the questioning of the subject representation. Some speeches intended to combine minorities, like women and peasants. The literary field has thus opened space for individuals willing to participate in the development of new project of nation, where diversity would be accepted. From this perspective, we are interested in the work of the Venezuelan writer Gloria Stolk, and Mexican Juan Rulfo. During the 50’s, they were able to establish a new space that diversify and transform the traditional role of the author. The analysis in this study considers two dimensions: the speeches and the profiles of these two authors. On one side they developed fiction around characters of their interest, on the other side they emerged as authors with multiple roles

It is proposed that the spirituality of the First Testament, and is summed up in hearing and living from the Word. It is concluded that this practice is present in the prophetism, in its fruits, or important effects during the mission. The reference for this research is the Third Song of the Suffering Servant, which is in the Second Isaiah, and expresses the prophet's mission to the exiled people. By listening daily to the Word of God, it brings comfort and hope to this situation of oppression. For this, the analysis of the text with its textual, literary, historical, editorial and current critical context is carried out in this research. It follows the context of the time of Second Isaiah in the Babylonian Exile. It ends with the application of this pericope for today when we see the effects of hearing the Word. The Servant is faithful even in the midst of suffering and experiences the effects of the Word of God thus becoming a parameter for those who announce it today.

Involvement of the nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-êB) pathway in peritoneal endometriosis

González Ramos, Reinaldo 05 June 2007 (has links)
Endometriosis is a gynecological disease in which endometrial glands and stroma are present outside the uterus. Pelvic pain, infertility and decreased quality of life are the main problems caused by this disease carrying epidemiological and social impact. Peritoneal endometriosis which is characterized by the presence of red, black and white pelvic endometriotic lesions is clearly a multifactorial pathology associated with a local inflammatory response in the pelvic cavity. In vitro studies suggest that the transcription factor nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-êB) is implicated in the transduction of proinflammatory signals in endometriosis. The aim of this study was to investigate the involvement and role of the NF-êB pathway in endometriosis in vivo. Firstly, NF-êB activation and intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM)-1 expression were investigated in thirty-six peritoneal endometriotic lesions from women. Constitutive NF-êB activation, involving p65- and p50-containing dimers, was demonstrated in peritoneal endometriotic lesions by electrophoretic mobility shift assays and supershift analyses, as well as NF-êB (p65) DNA-binding activity immunodetection assays. NF-êB activation and ICAM-1 expression were significantly higher in red lesions than black lesions, while IêBá (NF-êB inhibitory protein) expression was constant, as shown by Western blot analyses. Secondly, endometriosis was induced in nude mice by intraperitoneal injection of fluorescent labeled menstrual endometrium. Two NF-êB inhibitors (BAY 11-7085 and SN-50) were injected intraperitoneally and endometriotic lesions were recovered on day 5. Both NF-êB inhibitors induced a significant reduction in lesion development compared to control mice. NF-êB activation and ICAM-1 expression of endometriotic lesions were significantly reduced in treated mice, and cell proliferation in BAY 11-7085-treated mice. Both inhibitors produced a significant increase in apoptosis of endometriotic lesions, as assessed by active caspase-3 immunostaining and the TUNEL method. In conclusion, this is the first study to show constitutive NF-êB activation in peritoneal endometriotic lesions collected from women and during the initial development of endometriotic lesions in an animal model. Differential levels of NF-êB activation have been established between red and black lesions, providing more evidence on the distinct inflammatory status of these two types of peritoneal endometriotic lesions. In addition, this study offers further insight into the pathways implicated in NF-êB activation in endometriotic lesions, showing the involvement of p50/p65 dimers and suggesting participation of the canonical pathway of NF-êB activation. This study also demonstrates, for the first time, that NF-êB inhibition reduces the initial development of endometriotic lesions by inhibiting the inflammatory response and cell proliferation, and inducing apoptosis of endometriotic lesions. The NF-êB pathway therefore looks to be a promising therapeutic target for endometriosis prevention and treatment.

Listed, obliterated or status unknown : an analysis of the 50-year rule, 1966-2010

Koller, Emily Jeanne 25 July 2011 (has links)
The report evolves from previous work in the field that questions the efficacy of the 50-year rule, or criterion consideration G, of the National Register of Historic Places program to register and protect modern and recent past resources. Proponents of the recent past argue that by restricting evaluation of historic architecture to only that which is 50-years or older is leading to widespread endangerment and demolition of buildings and sites with periods of significance from the postwar era. This report studies the use of criterion G in-depth since the inception of the National Register program and attempts to identify and quantify the resources lost through continued adherence to the 50-year rule. The analysis is done in two parts. Part one examines the history of the use of criterion G by tracking patterns in the National Register of Historic Places data between 1966 and 2010 to determine how and where the case for exceptional significance has been made. Part two challenges the capacity of the existing framework of the 50-year rule and the NRHP program to protect the recent past by surveying the current status of a 145 AIA award-winning buildings from the 1960s. Most are virtually undiscovered in the canon of American architectural history, and all could likely be found as exceptionally significant. The study finds more than 75% of the AIA award-winners standing and possessing good integrity, but only 6% actually listed on the Register. The report concludes that we are losing less to outright demolition than estimated, but lack of context studies and an inconsistent vocabulary for postwar architecture is preventing the registration of intact resources from the 1960s that could greatly benefit from the awareness and recognition that is the primary purpose of the National Register. / text

Darbuotojų teisių apsauga verslo ar verslo dalies perdavimo atveju / Safeguarding of employees' rights in the event of transfers of business or parts of businesses

Vasiliauskas, Mantas 24 November 2010 (has links)
[toliau žr. visą tekstą] / This article analyses the definition of transfer of business or part of business, the protection of particular employees’ rights in the European law, case law, and compares realisation of current provisions in the Lithuanian law and application in the national case law. The European Court of Justice case law is analysed with the aim to determine if the European directives regarding the safeguarding of employees’ rights in the event of transfers of undertakings, businesses or parts of undertakings or businesses were introduced into the Lithuanian law on the whole extent. According to the judgements of the European Court of Justice, the concept of the transfer of business or part of business should cover a wider number of transfers than it is stated in directives, including those transfers, where there is no contract between transferor and transferee, transfers as a result of a legislative or administrative decision. Purchasing or reorganisation of enterprise does not always coincide with transfer of business or part of business and can be considered as a separate type of acquirement of business or part of business. However, the Lithuanian Labour Code does not provide for a definition of transfer of business, as it is done by The European Court of Justice and in Lithuanian case law it is often recognised as reorganisation or structural changes. The most basic protected employees’ rights were analysed and it showed that the European law provides clear protected rights and its... [to full text]
