Žlůva, Ivan January 2009 (has links)
This thesis describes theoretic proposal and two practical realization of multi - point wireless network, first for communications between two endpoints and second for wireless signal coverage of a structured space. The wireless network is realized by the equipment working in unlicenced 2,4GHz and 5GHz ISM band. The wireless device are configured in three different wireless mods: WDS, WDS bridge and AP. This paper contains short information about IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standard and associated proprietary wireless specifications. Practical workshop describes several variants connections and present the result of throughtput measurements, depending on wireless network topology.

Modelování mechanizmů vícenásobného přístupu do mobilní sítě / Modelling of Mechanisms for Multiple Access to Mobile Network

Tinka, Zdeněk January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis „Mechanisms modelling of multi access into mobile wireless network“ is focusing the wireless network. The diploma thesis contains basic network topology of wireless standard 802.11g and utilizes key identificators of mobile node in dependency on the distance and collision controlling function for simulation purposes. In the next part of this thesis is created LTE mobile network topology, which serves for finding key identificators. In the last part is created offload topology containing both - 802.11g and LTE network. As the result are implemented offloading algorithms, which ensure data traffic switching based on comparing 802.11g and LTE key identificators. Automatically generated and shown figures providing the key statistics are the main output of this thesis.

Využití mobilních AP jednotek pro bezdrátové připojení koncových zařízení / Mobile AP Units Utilization of Wireless Connection for End User Devices

Nárožný, Tomáš January 2009 (has links)
The work deals with design and implementation of multi-point wireless network connecting selected end devices (IP cameras). The Access Points (AP) using frequency band 2.4 GHz establish the connection. They are connected using wireless distribution system (WDS). The work briefly describes standard IEEE 802.11g which is base of the design. Practical part is composed of network throughput measuring, signal strength measuring of access points with description and description of all other used devices.

Synchronization analysis and simulation of a standard IEEE 802.11g OFDM signal

Lowham, Keith D. 03 1900 (has links)
Approved for public release, distribution is unlimited / Synchronization of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexed (OFDM) signals is significantly more difficult than synchronization of a single-carrier system. The recently approved IEEE Standard 802.11g specifies a packet-based OFDM system that provides a basis for the discussion of OFDM synchronization in a packet-based environment. Algorithms that synchronize the receiver carrier demodulation frequency and phase, the data frame, the OFDM symbol timing, and the data symbol timing are discussed and analyzed in an AWGN channel. System View simulation is used to implement the frame and carrier frequency synchronization algorithms, where the performance of these algorithms is analyzed and they are shown to be useful detection algorithms for Standard 802.11g signal reception. / Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy

Minimalizace vlivu rušení na bezdrátovou síť / Minimizing the effect of interference on wireless network

Doležal, Jan January 2008 (has links)
This thesis is concerned the technology with technologies of transfer through wireless devices. It is about possibilities of optimization of transfer in wireless net, especially of the reduction of interference influence. The first part is about theory and the standards development of wireless technology. There are methods and principles used in wireless technologies. The second part is a practical measuring and testing of an internal wireless net, with the emphasis being on the source of interference influence. Measuring was focused on interference between access points and was not about meteorological influence. It continues with theory and testing of interference of the microwave oven in our wireless net. Then, it is a practical demonstration of interference in an external environment. There are practical examples of interference between different providers’ nets on the same area and solutions to prevent or to cancel this interference. In next part of work the wireless net is parsed and described in a given territory. Here is described the way how to precede the reciprocal interference and eventually how this mutual disturbance suppress. Consequently, our net is optimized for customer growth and for today’s options of newer and more powerful components for wireless transfer. Finally there are two laboratory tasks. The first one is about practical measuring and testing of wireless net’s parameters and the second one is about simulation of wireless networks in the Opnet program.

Metodika měření kvality služeb ve Wi-Fi sítích / Methods for Quality of Service measurement in Wi-Fi networks

Bachan, Jiří January 2008 (has links)
This work deals with the wireless Wi-Fi networks, that used unlicenced ISM frequency band 2,4 GHz. These wireless networks are very extended in these days and used mainly for the Internet connection. With the multimedia data transfers expanding it’s necessary to ensure the specific quality of service QoS in wireless networks mainly for applications, which are sensitive to delay or packets lost. The main aim of this work is to describe Wi-Fi networks based on IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards, description of QoS techniques according to IEEE 802.11e standard and description of parameters describing QoS for the VoIP services. The practical part is divided on a two parts. The problems of measuring the radio link quality and the creation of simple program for quality of wireless connection analysis are solved in the first part. The second part incluledes measuring of the lost packets number in Wi-Fi network with the commercial application AirMagnet Laptop Wireless LAN Analyzer and measuring of the signal noise influence with the help of spectrum analyzer and vector signal generator.
