From the disorderly process of urban growth of Fortaleza, the research aims to understand how the conflict involving an area of environmental significance embedded in a zone of intense real estate appreciation occurred. Contemplated by the Municipal Act, became the Area of Relevant Ecological Interest (ARIE) Cocà Dunes in 2009. Since then is as the core of disputes being disputed environmental preservation and property rights. The methodology is qualitative and systemic. Under the interdisciplinary, three approaches build analysis: environmental, social and political-legal. For conclusive effects, it is understood that despite the historic breakthrough growth of Fortaleza, influences and political disputes, legal inconsistencies and deficit coverage in the performance of environmental movements, factors that favor the persistence of environmental conflicts persist, such as involving the Cocà Dunes. / No contexto da cidade, as controvÃrsias envolvendo o uso e apropriaÃÃo do solo e dos recursos naturais foram responsÃveis por desencadear alguns conflitos ambientais. A partir do processo desordenado de crescimento urbano de Fortaleza, a pesquisa objetiva compreender como ocorreu o conflito envolvendo uma Ãrea de relevÃncia ambiental encravada em uma zona de intensa valorizaÃÃo imobiliÃria. Contemplada pela Lei Municipal, se tornou a Ãrea de Relevante Interesse EcolÃgico (ARIE) Dunas do Cocà em 2009. Desde entÃo se encontra como nÃcleo de litÃgios, estando em disputa a preservaÃÃo ambiental e o direito de propriedade. A metodologia à sistÃmica e qualitativa. Sob o carÃter interdisciplinar, trÃs abordagens constroem a anÃlise: a ambiental, a polÃtico-social e a jurÃdica. Para efeitos conclusivos, se entende que apesar do avanÃo histÃrico de crescimento de Fortaleza, persistem influÃncias e disputas polÃticas, incongruÃncias jurÃdicas e dÃficit de abrangÃncia na atuaÃÃo dos movimentos ambientais, fatores que propiciam a permanÃncia de conflitos ambientais, tal como o que envolve as Dunas do CocÃ.

The research investigated the site of the educational managers about the guidance of environmental practices inside the classroom, seeking to find the border factors of the relationship between the human being and the environmental area. It is seen that sustainability requires a new way of environmental education, bringing from school the reassurance of how important is the relationship between the human being and ecosystem. The stated relationship is built with investments in order to qualify the environmental education in the facilities mentioned earlier. A case study was made using the data from research with the public school managers, in which interviews were used as instruments to test on how aware they were about the usage of ARIE as a privileged place to practice environmental education. The results of the studies stated that the idea of environmental education is still not well structured in the schools and doesn t make use of the resources available to enrich with knowledge and give meaning for those kinds of classes. The research also identified a low rate of motivation from the managers about the use and optimization of the conservation units. From this, it can be concluded that, within the participating schools -as an effective relationship with the ARIE didn t happen- the rupture of old paradigms must happen, in order to evoke new ways of living environmental practic classes, with which it should bring the human being in its first phase of education and the nature together, valuing the social and environmental surroundings / Esta dissertação teve como objetivo estudar a ARIE Área de Relevante Interesse Ecológico de Santa Helena - PR enquanto referência para a educação ambiental nas escolas públicas deste município. A pesquisa investigou a percepção dos gestores educacionais sobre o direcionamento da prática ambiental em sala de aula, buscando diagnosticar os fatores limitadores da relação entre escolas e o espaço natural. Verificamos que a sustentabilidade demanda uma reorientação da educação em seu viés ambiental, analisando a importância da relação do ser humano com a natureza a partir da escola. Tal relação se constrói mediante a mobilização com vistas a qualificar a educação ambiental nas referidas instituições. Foi realizado um estudo de caso quali-quantitativo por intermédio de formulários aplicados a 9 gestores, totalizando 50% das escolas públicas, contemplando a entrevista semiestruturada como instrumento para averiguar a percepção dos gestores sobre o uso da ARIE como lugar privilegiado para a educação ambiental. Os resultados da pesquisa constataram que a educação ambiental ainda não perpassa suficientemente os espaços escolares e não se articula com os ambientes que tem à disposição para enriquecer e significar as aulas. A pesquisa também identificou um baixo índice de motivação por parte de gestores quanto ao uso e otimização da unidade de conservação. Concluímos ainda que a educação ambiental nas escolas pesquisadas, ao não estabelecer uma relação efetiva com a ARIE, necessita romper velhos paradigmas para suscitar novas formas de vivenciar as práticas ambientais e aproximar mais o ser humano - em sua fase de escolarização - com a natureza, valorizando seu entorno ambiental e social

Stefano Landi's Arie a una voce and Early Seventeenth-century Italian Guitar Music with Alfabeto Notation

In the first few decades of the seventeenth century countless songbooks were published in Italy, more than 300 of which included the notation system for guitar accompaniment known as alfabeto. This early repertoire for the five-course Spanish guitar was printed mostly in Naples, Rome, and Florence, and was a pivotal precursor to our modern tonal musical understanding. The very nature of both the instrument and its characteristic dance-song accompaniment style led composers to create block harmonies in diatonic progressions long before such concepts bore any semblance to a functioning theory. This paper uses the 1620 publication Arie a una voce by Roman composer Stefano Landi as a case study through which to examine the important roles that both alfabeto and the guitar played in the development of monody. The ongoing debates over the practicality, authorship, and interpretation of alfabeto notation are all addressed in reference to the six pieces marked “per la chitara Spag.” found near the end of Landi's first songbook. This will provide an understanding of the alfabeto notation system as well as the role of the guitar in the rise of monody, provide more specific answers concerning the viability of accompanying these specific songs on the guitar, and provide a means for constructing an informed interpretation and recording of these examples of a long-overlooked repertoire.
